speed depends on your area. try with a prepaid sim first on the coverage before u device to port in. digi indoor signal is weak. every location and position also might have speed diffrents.

unifi prepaid got unlimited hotspot n quota. RM20/week, RM55/month when is offer.

for long hr internet hotspot from phone are not recommended.

there is many way to have unlimited hotspot. u sure u are programmer  laugh.gif[COLOR=purple]

Wow  notworthy.gif

as im using digi i80 , there’s no point using higher spec modem that support 4g + right ? cause my speed will remain < 10mbps which is 4g speed . am i right ?
*
Yes....you right...no point investing higher spec modem unless a modified spec modem where you can have unlimited tethering hotspot.

Hehehe

Hi, may I know b310 no need to modified and just can bypass the quota, .
And digi got rm 30 unlimited plan?
Sorry, I am newbie about this, tq.
*
it is refurbished B310 unit modified to bypass quota for hotspot.
speed still capped unless you use scripted bypass VPN which enable bypass peed as well.

Digi the only RM30 Unlimited is the Daily Unlimited RM1 Daily renewable just after midnite.
and also can hotspot unlimited

Just switch to Digi Postpaid 38 and buy unlimited data add-on for RM 10/5 days. So one month RM 98. Enjoy while it lasts, it may end anytime soon.
*
Ambassador also got that unlimited data addon rm10 for 5 days

Oh..? Unlock 22d make it compatible not = modded?

Correct me if I am wrong.
*
Yes....Unlock 22d meaning is to be able to accept other Telco like...Digi...UMobile

modded here mean is to enable 22d to bypass specifically especially Hotspot for YES...UMobile GX30 and GX50

Use China unbranded OEM modem. Cheap, highly customizable OpenWRT firmware and better chipset. No doubt only CAT-4 LTE-A but that is all you need at this moment with Malaysian telco networks.
*
Main issue is can lock band or not?
If not....going to face issue like always locking to congestion band....
So tell me....if you want to lock to band 3 only or band 7 ...
So how you do that?

I wish those B618 scalpers will stop entertaining us by saying their modems can do fibre speeds in excess of hundreds of megabits.

Seriously to go this low and use fixed fibre 300M/50M plans and spoofing their SSIDs to proof their claims? Really this desperate?
*
And you talking with your ass again.
What scalpers?

For god sake....go to TM outlet and buy the B618-55d at RM565....
Becoz it is Huawei....you can use HManager to lock band if your place is congested on band 3 especially....
Manual switch to Band 7 or Band 8..

So what the problen here?

Not happy that you cannot afford the rm565 B618 Modem?
Test 1st before shooting on your own foot and ass.

You ar seriously die die want to win.

I just signed up to Yes 4G for my second (data) line.  Comparison of Yes 4G vs Digi in my area:

Yes 4G (Band 38)

Digi (Band 3)

The Yes 4G is not on a Konfem add-on.  I suspect I'm the only Yes user for miles around.  Absolutely no congestion.  It's like having a six-lane expressway all to yourself.

Holy Smoke...
No wonder YES so fast.....Songkla....Fuyoooo
