if budget limited, get 2nd units if u insisted haha. there alots of 2nd modem on sales on digi infinite comunity fb group. no point pay extra for the warranty. some of the seller still ahve warranty too... the modem come with 3 yr warranty.

i have no idea why i'm from full bar signal coverage drop to 4bar. of coz speed are drop too.... RSRP not looking so good.. if continues like this really need external antenna pointed to tower.

direct to huawei. maybe 1week or 2 week ba... go try it out.... have't seing any send for rma

i got this also pop up on browser but is was't i click it. i was stream movie via website, those website will auto pop up ads

not sure will charged or not as i check on modem does't receive any sms charges.

detect n undetect could it be stick problems? try uninstall the driver/try different usb port...sometimes it does happen... even to thumbdrive too..

yoodo line is good..fully celcom 4G running.

in fb there seller sales digi rm1 daily unlimited too, but would not be your name on the sim. speeed 3mbps unlimited hotpsot and quota.

unifi mobile 4G quota is quite pricey

umobile gx30 also good, but coverage is an issue. can try it too.

consider as hotspot. u go fb find those seller of modem b310 bomoh moded then u can hotspot ald.

b618 is best modem at market now and it's consider cheap vs 4G+ modem others in market or 4g modem price.

mostly is user recommended those who tested the modem expecially on 4G+ area.


ugh i'm facing speed issue and latency issue lately. seem like cant be solved. already continues for a month.

look like run out of option need to add external antenna to boost signal

old spot where i locate the modem is no longer good. coz a month rsrp signal increased alots. 103+dbm.

tested around the house and can get good speed. but antenna should be works better.

that what i notice on RSRP dbm reading the lower it's goes the better the speed i'm getting. pretty much different.

103dbm speedtest around 16mbps only.
90~100dmb speedtest around 30~50mbps. can see 50mbps

some said normal postpaid are line faster internet vs infinite plan as infinite come with unlimited quota. normal postpaid have quota. the faster the speed the faster u finish quota, meanwhile infinite user has like 1TB quota to burn. only some able to hit that jack port line. some of use mid range user...

test with prepaid first see speed good or not on your area. i dont think digi block any streaming site...



p2p is capped.

there is no device limits of sharing hotspot.

speed depends on your area. try with a prepaid sim first on the coverage before u device to port in. digi indoor signal is weak. every location and position also might have speed diffrents.

unifi prepaid got unlimited hotspot n quota. RM20/week, RM55/month when is offer.

for long hr internet hotspot from phone are not recommended.

there is many way to have unlimited hotspot. u sure u are programmer

unifi mobile prepaid weekly offer ald come with unlimited quota n hotspot.

if old postpaid plan, u can do that but beware u might get caught and they block the sim directly.

even gx30 plan also blocked on some user. with 3mbps able to reach 1TB+ monthly...crazy

mifi hotspot not for long hour ok, if long hour operate not recommended. 4G modem is very cheap nowadays with modded.

unifi mobile prepaid max cap is 10mbps. i heard the speed cap is a bit lower this day.

for unifi sim u had to loook for mdoem that support b5, b38 & b40.

i'm still waiting for my manggo sim digi for offer rm1 daily unlimited...

dont waste this money get this modem.

u can hunt in fb selling cheap b618-22d lock set modem. cheapest i seing is rm350.
to unlock u need around another rm100 send to pro to unlock volte,unli hotspot & unlock the modem.

or huawei b315

relocated my b618 in my house.

old spot that being using for a year is no longer good anymore.

rsrp = 100~105dbm, speed ok la, 16mbps+ but when 1 person stream 1080 youtube gaming sure spike. seem like speed also capped on my laptop. while mobile speedtest is high vs pc.

new location able to get rsrp around 90~92dbm. speed double, see how is it first...

was plan to get antenna too...

get a lock set b618.22d rm350. unlock rm100. total 450 only

budget limite can get b310 <rm200 ready mod

tenda not good, when it comes ti unable to lock band and reading signal strength


Relocate new spot in house. old spot used for a year and problems almost a month.


speed not bad.

before relocate RSRP 100+dbm speed max around 20+mbps (unstable and had speed soft cap on different device)
new spot rsrp 88~92dbm gooding speed
