QUOTE(skyz @ Aug 3 2007, 08:46 AM) i dun think so as the SA said if the total price u customize in future r lower then u could ask 4 rebate...so i think don't differ as service or hardware...but today going to receive lappie already..duno the rebate stil applicable onot??..lol yup. Dell has this policy. why don't u all call your SAs and ask them about it?

QUOTE(happychai @ Aug 3 2007, 08:25 AM) price drop for 3 years complete cover..... should we ask dell to rebate us? If your laptop got delay for more than 2 weeks or 3 weeks and haven't recieve your laptop yet, you have a chance to rebate back. There's a bluetooth free for 1520 and Rm100 cheaper for the warranty.Maybe something extra with freebies such as backpack or mouse , tumbdrive or something else. QUOTE(ahaha @ Aug 3 2007, 09:38 AM) vostro is also full magnesium alloy so more durability and its a business laptop so the warranty is a business one And it doesn't offer any pc fair promotion price. QUOTE(David83 @ Aug 3 2007, 03:49 PM) PC Fair Deals: From http://www1.ap.dell.com/content/topics/top...dhs1&l=en&s=dhsIt's available for 1420, 1520, 1720 and XPS M1330. it comes with a trap though. the 1520 one u start with a lower spec base (mainstream model) as well as for the xps 1330 i think it's the high demand crap. they just cant cope. but they don't want to lose out to competitors. the 1720 one is really cheap though. prolly becoz less ppl buy. but my 1720 is yet to arrive. shortage of lcd screen crap. sigh...

Just got my Dell Inspiron 1420 this Monday. Got some dead pixels on my screen , I called on Tuesday, they send technician next day. Screen replaced, perfect! Not a single scratch or mark of being opened. The technician even put mats on before dismantle the laptop slowly, to avoid scratches. My review on the Dell Inspiron 1420 http://euhua.com/archives/my-dell-inspiron-1420-review
