Anyone knows what to check when receive the phone?

Just got my mate 20 pro 1 to 1 replacement from Huawei Pavilion. I must say it's tip top service and the phone I have it's a BOE screen. No more green tint and so far working very well.

However.. So used to the light saber at the side.. Eyes automatically focus the notch side, and both sides.. Now see no light bleeding macam not used to it pulak.. 😅😅

I think you can now gain back some confidence on the pro version. Many are replaced by BOE.. At leart from Pavilion center

How did you check on the running time?

I do agree that boe screen is not as bright and vivid as LG but I do feel more comfortable with BOE. I'm too used to comfy mode and LG white balance is too high even I chose lower brightness.. I still need to use an app to even lower the brightness at night. My room is complete dark at night.. Now I'm a happy customer without the two hulk at the side

Nope. Not encountering any of the issues reported in those links. However I can't guarantee it won't happen at all to anyone because its really depending on luck.

No. BOE screen is not as vibrant as LG. It is more to comfortable mode hence yellowish or warmer tone.

I cloned the phone from s9+ and somehow Samsung note is also installed in my m2p lol

Hahaha I wish I still have Samsung pay. Its so convenient..

I wonder how flashing screen in BOE looks like? Is that the lower refresh rate at lowest brightness? Only can be seen during recording and not naked eyes?

Maybe for the volte purpose? The security patch is outdated... September still 😅

BTW.. I also noticed the magenta color at the bottom of darker image while scrolling. BOE screen here.

No worries on dumping your phone into the sink or bath tub. I have been using ip67&68 since s7 Edge. So far so good. Washing is not an issue at all. But some phones like Samsung will remind u not to charge phone when the port is still wet. Prevent short circuit.. But I don't know if it has same alert in m20pro...

After using the phone for quite a while, I have to say that the facial 3D recognition and finger print scanner doesn't work properly. I rescan my face many times. It works differently in different scenario. If I am standing up, sitting.. It doesn't recognise the scan I saved while lying down.. And vice versa. Even finger print it doesn't work well if my finger is abit dry.. Getting frustrated with it..

Besides that, battery life and rear camera are awesome! I'm gonna see how s10 will be..

U don't have issue with the locking features?

There is such setting? If turning off, would it be less secure?

What about when lying down at night? I use this phone to watch series a lot.. And gaming too.

Hmm.. Maybe that makes more sense now. If I'm playing my phone on my bed, my fringe falls behind.. And when I'm standing, it's fall down.. But it's facial recognition.. I thought its bout the face structure and not the hair 😅😅

Guys, what kind of tempered glass sp u guys are using now and have no issue with finger print scanner? I think mine is on the thicker side thus failing almost 90% of the time.

X one comes with tempered glass too? I think theirs is more to silicon wrap right?
