i see, thanks for the info. i did not try to discharge the phone until near 0% ever lol.. but i think the speed is way much faster than normal ipad charger. Yeah the apps did mentioned that they actually only calculate how much time it need to get 1% and do rough estimation only.

now hopefully they can come out with cheaper usb c to lightning cable that is MFi. Apple is way too expensive and the quality is meh.

yea.. it should perform faster than ipad charger.. i believe your ipad charger is bundle from ipad pro right? then it should be 10W charger, that why you see the big different..

yup.. hopefully apple release MFi for 3rd party and china able to reverse engineering it.. brows.gif brows.gif else it not going be cheap even third party

I’m on 12.0.1 and chargegate still happens. Hopefully 12.1 will eliminate it. I read that it will. Some people were on beta 5 (as it then was) and it was fixed. Just curious because there aren’t any mentions about it

New iPad Pro uses Type C now, maybe the 2018 iPhones are the last of its kind with lightning cable...

And spoil their cable business? Nah I think iPhones are gonna stay with lightning for a little while more. UNLESS devs dig up some info in iOS 13 that states iphones support 4K display output. Otherwise, I see no point Apple changing their port.

Same as me, I got 1m & 2m long USB C cable and 30w Apple Charger, I feel that Xiaomi 65w slightly faster within 50-100% will be double check again today.

I doubt it, guys. I think Apple's intention with the new iPad Pro is to replace more competitor's laptops and Surfaces out there, hence they need the versatility of the USB C to compete. Doubt they will kill off the lightning port on the iPhones.

I could be wrong - and hopefully so.

couldnt agree more.. and the size too.. i think usb c slightly thicker compare to lightning..might be difficult for the placement..

not to mention apple can do alot restriction to lightning but i dont think they can with type c as there are protocol to follow..

best to wait hacker get some leak information from ios13.. then we will know...

of cause if type-c it would be great

Anyone here got their iphone using easyphone plan from celcom? I'm existing postpaid celcom subscriber, I'm not paying any amount on pre-order and my iphone safely arrived on 26th oct. I check my new bill still no new charges and still old plan. When they start to charge?

Business point of view, Apple sells a lot of these Lightning cable and micro USB to Lightning converters!

Thanks. Another question is, celcom just sent me another unit of iPhone yesterday (now I got two unit with same spec sweat.gif ). I check on my pre-order invoice confirm that I only order 1 unit.
I'm afraid they will double charge at my bill. How to confirm?

I got charged. Since I am MNP user. I need to pay 6months advance payment which is RM186x6.

I paid RM300 for pre-order. When collect my phone on 26/10. They ask me to pay RM816.

I can see the RM816 is credited to my account. But the 300 gone?
