Yup , i also wonder why haha. 6099 vs 5199 , which also have dual physical sim slot for the later.Thats about 900 saving and getting “ better “ spec iPhone. For me its a no brainer. Actually its the dual physical sim that make me change to max from 8 plus. I travel alot so the dual sim does come in handy when doing banking and receiving tac.

What phone u coming from? I used 7plus then went to smaller iphone 8. Was deciding between XS and XS Max but with the extra screen estate with same chasis as 8, i found XS to be more comfortable than Max. Max too big especially when screen body ratio larger than 8plus.

Got mine XS MAX 512GB at Machine Mid Valley whereas has been updated to IOS 12.1 beta 5.
Maxis esim also activated and can be use onward.

really impress with camera, full screen body, OLED and the speeeed.

but can't play extreme fps in HD/HDR settings in PUBG mobile.

overall 9/10

Just go play around iPhone XS MAX, I love the screen size & it actually look nicer in big screen.

I also play around the iPhone XR.

Here the front screen comparison.
iPhone screen color tunes is very professional where I am surprise it can make both quite identical in colors output on different panel use, LCD v/s AMOLED.
