Perhaps someday many of these socar would parked along the streets and you could easily drove off with just a touch of your ID

the only problem with socar is they require you to drove it back to where you collected it.........

Hopefully better security tech could come sooner and it would eliminate our overprice car ownership

My review of socar so far. Have rented it couple of times. Sometimes half a day, sometimes full day. Some cars are good clean condition, some cars side mirror cover missing, some cars damn dirty with ciggie smell inside, and yesterday rented one, OMFG, the car looks worse than DBKL garbage truck. Must be some orang hutan rented the car. Socar really needs to keep their cars clean as their prices are not cheap even for myvi. They cant keep asking customers to wash it for 1 hour free LOL Unless give 40% discount on next booking if help to wash, then thats a good deal. Nah i think im gonna skip Socar and look for better cheaper alternatives.

Any other gooding alternative?

Just a question, can I use Socar to drive somewhere and park temporarily for few hours, then I send back to an actual designated parking area?

Same view. Problems is there is no counter measure done by socar itself. I went to rent socar passat at cyberjaya back in end 2018. At that time the car pop up service intervals required which already exceeded 3k km. As a car lover, I do call socar for them to note or send it for service then. When returned the car, most review are pretty similar, car need service.

2 month after, I do rent the exact same car at same place cyberjaya. What a surprise, the pop up service still there. What a poor service.

The car was full with rubbish inside and they only compensate me for 1 hour free. Well I got not time to send it for car wash, why not their socar guys done it ?

When I checked last time, if the car is stolen under your watch, you have to replace it. Not covered by their insurance. You guys may re-verify this.
