I just booked socar oneway deal to KLIA2. Since you booked before, hope you can shine some light to my queries.

Since it's 1 way to airport, I took the car from 4-6pm, ie. 2 hours which is more than adequate from my place. The mileage given is 20km per hour which translate to 40km in total. Now, the distance from my house to airport is 45-50km (as per google map) whereas socar calculate it at 33km only. So...

1. Will I be charged extra if it goes to 50km?
2. Anything I need to be aware of when I drop off the car at the airport (KLIA2)?

for number 1. yes, any 1km extra 20cent per km

for number 2, remember to input the car parking slot number when u return the car..

I have a question. Can I drive the car and drop it off at another Socar station, instead of the one I took it from?

E.g., I want to drive to KLIA only, from KL.

I should try using socar from klia to pj next time i return there, do i need to prebook or i can just use app at that point?

There's a one way deal which takes the socar from any location around Klang Valley to either KLIA or KLIA2. There's also socar service from KLIA/KLIA2 to certain destination in Klang Valley. Got many with 0% coz the user don't want to pump petrol. I took 1 and luckily the petrol station was just around the corner. Fill up and returned the car with 50% balance.

I don't know why people don't want to fill it up. I hear 'a lot' say the claim back process is long but mine just took me 4-5 working days? Reasonable la....

I heard somewhere that I can pickup the car from it's original Socar Zone and drive to another Socar Zone and then people from Socar will drive back to it's original spot, is it true?

I just used their D2D service with RM 0 booking fees. You can pick where do you want to pick up the car and where do you want to drop it off. Did it 2x. Very satisfied coz I don't need to wait for my car during service.
