Why close down very fast? They are practically doing similar to what traditional car rental companies have been doing. Car rental companies also the car is under special insurance and road tax-for their clients to drive.

most likely vpcm hav many unsold cars so they decided to lease those cars on socar, hahahaha

ic, but gocar/socar is still the middleman and need to pay certain commission to them, if those manufacturers hav something similar to socar themselves then they can make more money frm it

basically i think socar is indirectly helping those giants to advertise. car advertisement on the road + this and that is real costly nowadays. but if a win win model - feeling fhe experience with a affordable cost, this will be the future venture model. after reading this, am ready to least a cae from socar

the difference is car rental charges their customer more than this socar
they also need to register their car with the government(under car rental) whereas socar don't
car rental companies' car take care of their car for their customer whereas socar didn't as seen in this thread
car rental company, when u rent car..they will do a checklist...any damage will be at the cost of customer
socar customer can pickup the car anytime, they can drop off the car in trash condition..they don't even need to pay

based on my exp I shared earlier, the only problem with socar is the car badly maintained. and the user problem. they don't treat the car nicely. this is 3rd world mentality. but socar should have see it coming. too bad they are too new to punish the bad apple. I supposed they have strong customer base, they start to punish the wrong doers. I really hope so.

I myself have a not too good exp. but overall I think this I a very good breakthrough to torn down the bad bad car rental, the traditional. old cars, bad maintained, everything was wrong with them. cut throat price.

in this socar, the 2nd reserved with same duration, the price actually fly high. so meaning, they have the price floating.
