I plan to extend my corner lot out and add 1400 sq feet in built up space. Upstairs add a room and bathroom and reconfigure the Master bedroom. Add walk in wardrobe. Downstairs extend the bedroom and add a new bathroom with tub and shower stall. Relocate kitchen and dining area. Add a laundry room and a small entrance way. How much do you estimate the cost? Just for the wetworks and fittings exclude the furnishings. Thanks!

Let's say to
A) reduced floor thickness around 2 inch for 1000 sqft
B) increase floor thickness around 2 inch for 1000 sqft.
Which item will cost more ?

ah, this is interesting -
1) what is the maximum height you can go for the brickwall there?
2) did you demolish the existing party wall, or you just erected new brick wall on your own compound?

Depends on how complexity of the works. (Got any steps, how many walls and partitions or just empty flat floor?)

1) The height for this bricks wall is 4'8". So after plastering will be +- 4'9"
2) we removed the existing MS fence and build brickwalls on the existing ground beam

whoa, nice! just slight short of 5ft height
did the neighbor on the other side of the wall make any fuss, since the MS is sharing, and the brick wall seems to be only on your half of the ground beam(?) - did you guys also brick up on the neighbor's side?
thanks for replying thumbsup.gif

Both of the neighbours here are friendly. The bricks sit on top of the ground beam which means sharing wall with neighbour. After bricks work done we will do plastering and painting including the neighbour side. 😁
