Have u experience on lighting design (without plaster ceiling) of the house ? Because I am looking for lighting specialist to design the ambience of the house only and include the lighting installation as well. Need some advise for the particular place with the light design. Like using the tracklight, pendant light, down light or spotlight) need how many of them so make sure the light is enuf in particular area ?

Hi, I'm not a so-called pro in lighting but i can share with you some ideas of lighting. To make a room that is not too bright or too dark the first thing you need to know is the area size. Each light between distance needs 5ft and distance from the wall is at least 3ft (check the attachment below). Secondly the track light purpose is to highlight some features. Eg. for wall features, drawing or painting, and display rack. For what I've seen now in KLCC condo they mainly use eyeball instead of downlight. The eyeball can create warmth and cozy environment. The uses of the eyeball are recommended in the condo and for Landed property should use both eyeball and the downlight(4" or 6") in order to create good lighting. Here is my 2 cents on lighting.
