Is your ONU showing LOX blinking in RED when the connection is down ?
If NO, then try to observe the Internet Connection indicator on the Router/login to the Router to check it's connection status.

Please login to your DIR850L via 192.168.0.1 (default unless you have changed it), Username : admin, Password : blank (unless you have changed it or upgrade the firmware).

Go to Settings > Internet > Reconnect Mode > set it to Always On.

Try to perform a hard factory reset, and then upgrade the firmware to the latest v2.08TT.
Auto Upgrade can be done via https://time.com.my/checkmyrouter

* Note : You gotta get ready your TIME PPPOE Login credentials to set it back to the router.

Happening here in Bandar Utama as well. Only started after it got auto-upgraded to 500Mbps.

Thought it was a problem with the old DIR-850L router, especially since I haven't been able to get anywhere near 500Mbps DL, even on LAN. Mostly getting around 120-130Mbps.

If the new Archer router arriving soon doesn't solve the problem, I may have to take it up with TIME CS when I stop travelling for work, and can be home for them to send their technician over.

Hi, you're using the old D-Link DIR-850L router?
This D-Link Cylinder type have a lot of issues like need to restart only can work.
LAN connection not getting full 500Mbps?
Try perform direct connection to ONU.

D-Link DIR-850L before that has vulnerable issues.
After upgrade only having this problem means that the router cannot cooperate with 500Mbps.
Since this is suitable for 300Mbps and below.

A lot of forumers here complained about the D-Link DIR-850L.
The TP-Link C1200 is more stable than DIR-850L.

C1200 over 5GHz Wi-Fi can get up to 300Mbps while DIR-850L cannot achieve the same scenario as C1200.
Archer C6 is the latest product which will be more better than C1200.

Yes lately we notice there are increasing complaints on this issue.

Symptoms Observed :

Power & Globe (Internet) indicator are both green, but unable to browse Internet, it just hangs.
No issue on Huawei HG8240H ONU.

Resolution :

Upgrade the Dlink DIR850L router to latest TIME firmware, v2.08TT .
You can use the easiest auto way to upgrade. If it fails, then you can drop me an email, I will send you the firmware & guideline.
If you feel not confident to do it, you may call 1800 18 1818, and SI will install for you.

Reduce the occurence but we still notice intermitent session hang.
