Hello, Huawei WA8021V5 is similar to AC1200 speed.
And TP-Link EC440 is similar with AC2600 just like D-Link DIR-882.

My suggestion is to get your own router instead if you want to improve the speed.
Get the Omnimesh setup if you want to improve the coverage instead of speed.

Yes, it is compatible with TIME Fibre.

Most routers are compatible as TIME Fibre does not require special VLAN Tag setup.

Normally the modem will remain the same even with the upgrades.

Sometimes upgrade to 1Gbps with or without free router.
Kindly check whether is there only option to upgrade with free router.

Can you try factory reset. Did you connect back to LAN Port 1 of the ONU that is connected to the existing router?
For TIME don't need additional IPTV settings.
Don't select the special requirements from ISP or select Unifi/Maxis Profile. Use custom profile.

Yes, you need a compatible receiving devices as well if you are not using LAN Cable.
Best to get AX Router and AX Adapter to achieve fully 1Gbps.
If using in the room, best to extend the LAN Cable to the room as the speed might decrease when it is further away from the router.

I would like you to use the TP-Link AX50 and enable 160MHz.
Get AX200 Adapter for laptop or desktop. Most phones I think unable to achieve 1Gbps easily.

Take note that 1Gbps plan upload speed is only 500Mbps.
Other like No. 1 and 2 is fine. With AX Adapter and Router able to achieve full 1Gbps speed.
Enable 80MHz if your devices support 80MHz mode.
