Thanks all the TIME personnel to keep in touch with me for the internet installation. Have a few hiccup during the first installation and my building MDF room having some defects. After some rectification step suggested by technician to my building management, they able to fix the issue and now installation have been completed and my home internet has restored after two month of outage. Many thanks to TIME for the efficient works!

Internet working fine now, but weird thing is my Sony Bravia TV not able to get connection from the router. When I used hotspot from my mobile the TV connects just fine. Also tried LAN cable from TV straight to router but no success. Anyone encounter this before? I got a tp-link AC1350 router

hi, i'm interested on time home fibre and i'm living at condo. I see some neighbor has installed it, the cable pull from MDF room to house unit and drill a small hole for cable to go inside the unit.

May i know is there any additional charges to installer for drill small hole? And the 20m free cable is count from the hole to the area inside my unit that i would like to installed, right?
*
Dear Bro

Thanks for your interest in time fibre , there would be no charges on the first small hole at your doorstep. Also , the free 20 meter cable is counted form your doorstep to the place you prefered to install your modem and router.

Thanks

Why am i still getting <100Mbps on the speed test. tried the speed test for a couple times for about 2weeks. I'm on the 500Mbps package.
Anything can i do to speed it up?
Appreciate sifu help. Thanks
*
Dear bro ,

Have you tried doing the speed test by using direct thru lan connection to your router or using Wi-Fi under 5Ghz

Also try to change your DNS mode to Goggle DNS if you have not done it before.

Feel free to contact us if need further assistance.

Usually how long do we have to wait for them to "upgrade network" in a condo?

I applied for TIME more than 1 month ago. My installation was supposed to take place on 24th August, 10a.m. 2 days before the appointment, I chatted with TIME to confirm my appointment and they've also confirmed that the technician will be there on that day.

On 24th August, I received no SMS or any status update and I continued to wait for the technicians to come over. After a while, I called TIME and they told me network upgrade and I need to wait until 19 September to set a new appointment. Seriously?!?!

Is this how TIME works nowadays? Such a lousy service provider. Never encountered such issue with Unifi / Maxis before.
*
Dear Bro

We are TIME FIBRE distributor can help you on Time Fibre registeration and installation appointment matter

Sorry for your encounter above , feel free to let know your application detail so that we can follow up for your condo installation issue.

Thanks

Hey Guys,
planning to jump on the time bandwagon, as my new place is soon to be ready.

a couple of question tho, i saw from the website. for the basic voice option, it just says pay as you use, but does it comes with the dect phone? or do i need to pay for it?

secondly, i ready a few pages back, the fiber cable will start counting from the point they enter my house right (20M)? not from the riser room?

planning to get the 500mb package. any promos around that agents have or better to just apply thru website?
*
Dear bro

Thanks for your interest in Time Fibre , we are Time Fibre Distributor since 2013 .

For basic voice option , Time do not provide cordless phone , if you need to add cordless phone , we suggest you go for Voice lite packages in which only cost you RM 2.5 per month . This package come with free a cordless phone and you will enjoy 30 min free call per month .the contract is 24 month.

For installation method , if you condo installation method is not pre laid method, yes the installation method is as per you mention above . The free 20 meter fibre cable (free excess is counted from your door of entry point(not riser room) to the place you would like to put your modem and router.)

As a time fibre distributor, we can support you with registration and arrangement for installation, feel free to let us support you

Thanks..

Hi ladies & gentlemen,

I've checked the coverage area on the website and it says that Time does not available in Putrajaya. Is it really the case?

Does anyone have juicy info on whether Time is planning to expand there?

Thanks guys,

Hi there. Sorry if this sounds stupid, is Time Fibre not using the phone LAN cable like how Unifi works? As i am moving to a new place, and sadly the LAN port will be blocked by cabinet, but i have another "CoreTech" plug point which i was told can be used to connect Time Fibre with a GPON terminal. Is this something exclusive for Time? Or i am just outdated.

Cheers
*
Dear Bro

There might be 2 types of installation method available for time fibre , assume you building utilize installation method under pre laid method , maybe what you have suggest above is correct.

Also,as per your mentioned below , Time fibre do not optimize the phone cable (copper in last mile) like what unifi practise.

Anyway can you share more detail of your condo name to confirm the above installation method?

Thanks
