My log so far:

2018 - 3 downtimes recorded totaling 1 hour 25 minutes.
2019 - 5 downtimes recorded totaling 4 hours 42 minutes.
2020 - 3 downtimes recorded totaling 5 hours 19 minutes

that's my experience. your results may vary depending on your location in bayan lepas.

Anyone else in penang having network outage? Been down since 5pm just now and so far no updates

need some advice on my place's wifi performance. currently i'm using DIR-882 and would like to know the best way to get >200mbps in every corner of my place. blue denotes places where I can get >300mbps, yellow denotes places where I can get around 20-80mbps, and red denotes zones that are less than 10mbps or 0 signal straight away. the green box is where i have my wifi router placed at the moment.

i'm considering either changing my router to DIR-X5460 or adding wifi mesh COVR-1100 in each room. i'm also wondering if the new huawei ont + wifi mesh can improve the coverage as well? i would like your suggestion or opinion on improving the wifi coverage and speed for the place. thanks

I got this when I enter self plan, but why is this showing like the router is free when you will be getting this + 2 mesh nodes when you subscribe to a new plan?



what's the incentive here to upgrade from existing plan instead of just subscribing to a new line?

Can I know for the 2gbps router, can we use the other LAN ports to connect our own wifi router? it seem that the 2gbps router only has one 2.5g lan port so I want to reserve that for my pc, but I also want to broadcast wifi via my own wifi router.

seems like they have included the 2.5g onu if i were to renew my contract. question i wanna ask, if i renew my contract, how soon can i upgrade to 2gbps?

nvm ignore. i misread the model and this is just a 1gbps router and not the 2.5gbps router lol

if i downgrade my 1gbps to 500mbps, will I also get the speed boost to 600mbps?

here's to hoping for Time to be more competitive in 2gbps pricing. maxis offers 2gbps for 319 but sadly it's not available in my place

wow 1gbps upload... I need to force my JMB to allow Maxis d in this case.

just asked to terminate line and got offered either 6 months free or 2x wifi 7 mesh router

they still have no promo for 2gbps pricing
