Received offer to upgrade from 150mbps to 300mbps for extra RM10. Did it without thinking much. Free a Huawei mesh router but with 2 years contract with Time.

Hope in two years time no major downtime or service disruption la.

I am a Time user for almost 2 years. Guess they wanted to retain me.

Time got 300Mbps fiber plan?
How much is your current plan (150Mbps) price?

Sorry for late reply. Earlier was paying 109 for 99mbps. Now add extra 10 for 300mbps. Was using for 2 years+

anyone facing frequent disconnections when connecting to VPN then using SAP? It is driving me crazy when working for home. Seriously regret extending my contract till October just for that 1 unit of free Mesh.

I'm using Zscaler VPN.

Restarting modem + contacting their helpline didn't solve the issue. Might need to keep complain to them before things can improve doh.gif

hmm what do u mean? got people shared in this thread with same issue before?

other VPN affected? only Zscaler ah.

Really not worth the cheaper price if you can't do your work at SAP. It is as if micro disconnects keep happening causing it.

Play games, stream, etc all ok.. just this part pissing me off.

manage to resolve the issue after keep making noise to TIME.

At first they send technician to update my modem firmware (it is on bridge mode so won't auto update). This didn't solve the issue

I call back after seeing it didn't help and insist on new modem, which in the end they help me replace (been using this stupid modem Huawei for 3 years).

Now SAP no longer disconnect by itself. Zscaler also smooth.

The technician did tell me that modem has disconnection problem and the update should fix it, sadly it didn't.

If you're like me keep disconnect when using SAP, then try this. My old modem no "TIME" words on it.. new one got. I almost wanted to terminate my TIME due to this coming October once my contract finish.

PS. while writing this msg SAP finally disconnected once. Oh well at least better than previous. Will monitor and update here again later.

Hi, are you now using the 2-in-1 Huawei HG8145X6-10 ONT ?
The previous ONT HG8145V5 has frequent disconnection issue.

Just did a call with my company's IT team yesterday, it seems that due to my own router having IPv6 enabled causing ZSCaler to keep disconnect! doh.gif They found it after asking me to do a full screenshot of my ipconfig /all in command prompt. When I go into my router page 192.168.0.1 and login to check, can see it enabled also. After switched off only Ipconfig/all shows IPv4.

so guys, do contact your company's IT team first. I have since disabled IPv6 in my TP link router and so far working today only twice disconnect. Much2 better than earlier which was like up to 10 disconnections in 1 hour's time. rclxms.gif

I googled and found that ZScaler can support IPv6, maybe it's not enabled by my company in their settings.

didn't work, same issue happen again today.. worse than yesterday (total 4 times kicked me out yesterday).

Today morning alone more than 5 times kicked me out of SAP. Srsly dunno how TIME configures their network. With Unifi never have this issue at my mum's house.

gonna cancel TIME after contract is over.

now trying a less known free DNS see if it will help.

Cloudflare and OpenDNS cannot work, could be due to them (I set up at Router level).
