mine every time car engine turn off...the 70mai pro cam will shutdown immediately...is it battery consider faulty ? but when new time already like that situation ... thanks ..
Can try if the 70mai Pro will turn on and record when you shake it but make sure the parking mode is turned on.
i use car cigarette port convert to usb Port to powered the 70mai pro ..so if can didn't start ..no power supply to 70mai pro.. i was thinking you have method to connect the connector to the battery without using welding machine ..that's why you share the battery link for replace the battery ..
very less people has spot welding machine at home...btw..do you have ?
70mai Pro has built-in battery. The parking mode runs off the built-in battery. That's why asked you to test and see if the battery can power on when the g-sensor is activated.
Usually, the connector is held in with metal pins in the connector. No need soldering.
how hard i shake ..the 70mai pro cant be power on...
the battery will hold some power if no power supply from usb..am i right ?
during your testing ..you use car usb port to powered 70mai pro ? if yes ..after turn off your car ..the 70mai pro immediately shutdown or wait Min or 2 Mins to shutdown ?
By right with the battery can on standby for sometime.
I'm using Aukey USB car charger to power my dashcams. Is it don't have power? Can try a phone charger and charge your 70mai Pro? But make sure it's not those USB ports with Quick Charge or Super Charge.
Hi sifus, I was reading about the 70mai pro using battery which is not good in the sun and to remove it if it's under the sun. Is it easily removable since I see quite a few comments that the glue is super sticky. I just got my unit and wondering how to make sure it doesn't spoil because of the sun
If you got read thru the 1st post, you can see from the pictures that the 70mai Pro can be easily slid off the tape mount.
Since the 1944 resolution is 4:3, does it make sense to use it compared to 1440 which is 16:9? Seems to just capture a lot of sky and buildings. However I wonder if using 1440 means losing detail due to lower resolution? Or is the extra resolution for 1944 just for the areas cropped out by 16:9?
I prefer the 1440p's 16:9 more than 4:3. Just the video seems taller only
