QUOTE(melt @ Jan 3 2019, 04:17 PM) Well you can try and see.... the price RM1500 is just for the ticket from what I heard(I might be wrong but I trust my source). This is due to the chance of seeing the team of lifting the cup. If its a normal last game it wont be that much definitely. I'd like to get a ticket from your source. QUOTE(jacckl @ Jan 3 2019, 06:01 PM) i done some research, only locals able to get cheap tickets. foreigner/tourist are sold hospitality package and its bloody expensive. another way is getting tickets from season ticket owner but you need to first know who selling it, and there are chance ticket might not be legit Yup, it is indeed a little unfair for tourist. But then again, it should be like this for the local. If you have a relative in the UK, you can buy those tickets that go on sale last minute.

That's why, when the expectation is so fucking high. We can't even accept a loss.
Man City is a totally different side from last couple of weeks and Fernandinho is a beast. Klopp started that midfield for a stronger pressing and defensive side and break away on a counter. Remember we are playing away.
I've not heard Etihad being so loud for quite some time and poor Milner. After all he's done with Man City, took a paycut for playing time still get booed.
Lovren wasn't up to expectation but come on, selling a player after a bad game? haha, luckily we are not managers.

QUOTE(prophetjul @ Jan 4 2019, 10:53 AM) Hey You cannot blame him for performing as such IF those were the instructions from the boss??? It seems Klopp took a very pragmatic approach to the game. Those 3 would normally fight like tigers for the ball. But notice in the 1st half, they were happy to stay off the ball. We never know what is the instruction from the manager like when to press, where to press, who to press. It is much more complicated than pressing every single ball.

QUOTE(cherroy @ Jan 4 2019, 10:58 AM) The difference of this match is very tight. Mane's shot hit the post, and bounced out. And somemore from the rebound, half of the ball has already crossed the line, just less than 1/4 inch before the full ball crossed the line. While Sane's shot hit the post and in. 98% of the ball passed the line and Salah almost got the rebound too. I not sure if we are unlucky but Aguero scoring from that angle. Just gave me the nightmare I had when he scored pass Reina from the corner flag. That fucker just like to score against us from the tightest angles.

QUOTE(prophetjul @ Jan 4 2019, 11:03 AM) Exactly. However, from the playing style of the midfield, it seems they were not pressing. Just keeping their zone secured. This is in comparison to last year's CL matches where we pressed the hell out of them My grouse is Klopp was TOO respectful. The City defense could have been got at. It's not tight. Especially with Kompany and LaPorte at LB He was probably playing for a draw which is understandable.

Solanke move seems inevitable. But Clyne is TAA's backup. Not sure that is the right move or we are targeting another wing back?

QUOTE(lcy851031 @ Jan 5 2019, 04:47 PM) For Clyne, maybe Clyne himself also want to seek more game time, which Klopp cannot guarentee. Plus like other say, we had alot of player could play right back role, TAA, Gomez, Milner, or even Fabinho. And recently our youth team had a stand out performer, Ki-Jana Hoever, despite 16 years old, already good enough to play at U-23 team, and impress Klopp enough to be allowed to train along with first team. He able to play CB and RB as well. Why would he need more game time? There's not world cup or euro coming up. Plus we are challenging for title and vital for a player with his experience to add to our depth. He played well when he started against MU few weeks back.

That team on paper should not lose to Wolves. Only 2 youngsters.
The rest are considered good rotation players except Moreno and Origi. Still it is not something to regret since there is a bigger prize at stake. We can still do the double lol.

QUOTE(prophetjul @ Jan 8 2019, 01:26 PM) 3 youngsters. teenagers to be exact. Ah yes, including Hoever. Still, a line up with Milner, Keita, Sturridge, Shaq, and Origi should not lose. Fabinho playing out of position but still. I did not watch the match but I read that the desire and hunger is not there.

QUOTE(indran1412 @ Jan 8 2019, 12:08 PM) Read again. I said title challengers. All the big clubs won their FA cup matches comfortably. Except Liverpool. Obviously since klopp doesn't prioritize it. Oh well. On to the next matches FA Cup has lost it's essence long time ago. The incentive of winning is not as big as it is. Bigger clubs are aiming for UCL and PL. We could have gone further in and continue playing the rotation/back up players but then again I also don't mind losing the FA Cup especially at this stage and we can go all in for UCL and PL. The latter being the ultimate goal obviously.

QUOTE(prophetjul @ Jan 8 2019, 01:48 PM) Cannot say whether hunger was lacking. BUt, the team effort looked very uncoordinated in attacks especially. i thought Kieta and Shaq may perfrom better. But not. i suppose playing with a teenager in the midfeild is not easier. Origi and Stur did not support each other very well. All in all, very bad team effort. But Wolves put in a full team. AND as we know, they are no smugs. So the teenagers especially Hoever did very well. Canacho was good. Jones, not so good. I thought Jones is the most up and coming player. Oh well, onward to next game then, need to bounce back from bek to bek losses.

QUOTE(jacckl @ Jan 8 2019, 02:43 PM) the prize for winning fa cup is 10m (total sum), the prize for qualifying ucl is 30m. no rocket science to see clubs will put more focus on top4 than winning the cup. Exactly, and the pride of winning FA Cup is also not that great anymore.

QUOTE(Everdying @ Jan 9 2019, 12:41 PM) strawberry generation. last time iirc lfc defender with broken shoulder also played on. Medical staff and Klopp also make decision whether to field the player or not. He was pissed off at Lovren to still play for Croatia with his stomach problems as it may have a long term effect and impact his time when he comes back with LFC? Times are different now, Karius played with a slight concussion and look where it got him.

Not the best timing for "time for the youngsters to step up"
Nonetheless, I hope they come good for the month or so.

What a horrible idea to loan out Clyne. He has experience and is very dependable at his position.
Not sure what is the reason Klopp decided to loan him out in such important run like this. I don't think it is playing time. Will a player leave the club on loan and risk the chance of winning a medal? Plus there is no major international tournaments coming up.

Overall good game and good result. We played with literally the last choice of CBs. Gnabry was a beast down the right even causing problems to the most reliable Robertson. Fabinho did well out of his comfort position.
Feels like Allison was trying the come at me bro taunt the opponent with those miss passes.
Henderson was immense. The lob pass to Salah, his defensive abilities and pressing nullified Lewandowski from receiving any services.
Seems like Keita is still trying to fit into BPL, he plays well against German team like as though he was still in Leipzig.
I still can't believe Mane missed 2 clear opportunities. I thought other players did their part.
Munich fans was so much louder through the TV and percussion should be banned from from the stadium especially for the away fans. Percussion should be banned from the stadium!
