QUOTE(sahathai @ Dec 3 2018, 11:28 PM) better spend some money to nurture our own harry wilson. but sometimes spending big is necessary as statement of intent. mané played well this season despite not scoring as much as he should with the chances that he had. he also provides a good cover for robertson in defense. but I think he need a good competitor to up his game. perhaps Ox can play as LW once he's fit again. Ben Woodburn.

Convincing win. Good saves by Allison. Good to see Origi earning his start. Now this is squad depth.

QUOTE(moodswingfella @ Dec 26 2018, 11:21 AM) But Milner will not stay with us any longer wor. Well the question was for January transfer. I always believe January is not the best time to make any signings unless it is for a real need as transfer value are much higher. I think back up centre backs are needed and expectation is that we will sign a true back up like how we have done with Kolo and Klavan. I don't expect a big signing since our depth is really good now.

QUOTE(farisq @ Dec 27 2018, 01:08 AM) TAA looking a bit rusty... The rest are ok. and suddenly Hendo looks like a world beater in the last 15-20mins haha. Long may it continue... yup, in fact whole month of January has tough games, hopefully we'll come out with as many points. Quite dissapointed with him actually, only managed one save the whole match... I thought TAA was amazing, going forward and defensively. His crosses were dangerous and had 2 assist? I know 1 is for Shaq.

Everyone makes mistakes. Yup, good that Bobby and Robbo gets a break before 2 big matches.

QUOTE(jacckl @ Dec 31 2018, 10:09 AM) genuine fans that know the pain of 08/09 and 13/14 season will not pancut awal. you can see those who do are mostly trolls from other club, just ignore them Exactly. Just like how we've made comebacks in some cup games, other teams can come back too. That's what football is about.

Calling 08/09 team lousy is forgivable, maybe you weren't a fan yet. Just to let you know, that team was managed by "defensive" Rafa score 4 pass Real Madrid and Man Utd at Old Trafford back to back. Peak Torres, Gerrard, Masherano and Alonso just to name a few best players we had in the last decade. We fell out of 1st position after week 22 and never recovered despite winning 9 and drawing 1 in last 10 games.
13/14 we had Suarez, Coutinho, Gerrard, Sterling, Sturridge all on form. We were closer in 13/14 as we slipped at week 36. Some people really have short term memory.
On the other hand, what i meany by pancut awal is to celebrate every win but not celebrate like we won the league in FB or here or any forums. It will only come back to bite you if we slip. The infamous "We do not let this slip" followed by an actual slip is still fresh yet bitter in my mouth. The slip joke is still on us. Come on, when are you gonna learn?

QUOTE(moodswingfella @ Dec 31 2018, 04:52 PM) Its not pancut awal leh. Cmon, we are unbeaten and scoring for fun. Some of us just wanna celebrate...and banter some teams out there 😋 What to banter when we haven't won anything for 12 years? I also don't understand. There is no comeback to banters when even Mourinho won 2 cups last season. This post has been edited by kenlimfornication: Dec 31 2018, 05:26 PM

QUOTE(moodswingfella @ Dec 31 2018, 05:32 PM) Why the need to win anything before we can banter? Unless you don't have a sense of humour or take it way too seriously then idk lah. Become too srs also not good at some point. Too stress manatau oneday blood pressure also skyrocket. This is just football. Relax. Blood pressure is always high when supporting Liverpool. Sorry I don't see a point of bantering because when I look at them fans from other club bantering, they are so annoying and I rather not be 1 of them. I enjoy a more detailed, statistics driven and realistic discussion.

QUOTE(moodswingfella @ Dec 31 2018, 05:44 PM) Sure. U cant tell people how to have fun anyway pun kan. And we too cannot tell u exactly how to celebrate. U do as you prefer, we do as we like. What I know is we all here support the same team. There's no need to differentiate who and which type of fans is superior. So umm, whatever rock your boat bruh 😁 Happy new year! I didn't say who's superior and who's not. All I am saying is chill out unless you want to see and feel another slip. Happy New Year to you too. QUOTE(jimbet1337 @ Jan 2 2019, 01:08 PM) Honestly for me, long term prospect is one thing but for this season's January signing, I prefer complete/proven player at any required position in order for us to win the league/UCL. We are halfway there. Sign who? Klopp knows better. If he thinks the current crop of players are up to it, then I've no problem either. I think he will sign another defender. A versatile or experienced 1 as backup. Like when we signed Klavan or Kolo. Other departments seems to be very well covered.

QUOTE(Everdying @ Jan 2 2019, 02:54 PM) well, modern football has wing backs bobby imo doesnt have that telepathy to spray crosses wherever he pleases...he rather runs into space and have someone spray crosses to him...and which shaq is of cos very good at. that said, just say if shaq is a no10...that doesnt necessarily mean there has to be a false9...cos this is on the assumption that a 4231 is used...so why not a 4213... We still have Ox who can play pretty well at wide and also no.10 oh and Lallana. Call me traditional but I have a thing for Homegrown and I really hope Klopp has a plan for Woodburn and Wilson. Buying anyone on the attacking 3rd will stall their start with Liverpool.

Why does it matter who plays no.10? All 4 of them are capable of playing #10 and including Ox. We have more than enough players for that role. Plus we have Origi and Solanke as out and out striker. Sturridge has also played 10 role when he came on as sub a few times this season. I know these 4 are on fire but we have more players that we don't see in training.

QUOTE(melt @ Jan 3 2019, 03:57 PM) ticket for the last match in Anfield will cost you around RM1500. That is what I heard I doubt so. A normal ticket for non-UK resident is already about RM600-700 and normally you will need to get with a hotel package etc which is another 400-500. I paid RM1,500 for Liv vs Utd game - including 2 night stay. RM1,500 is probably buying from a season ticket holder who cannot attend that match. I don't think any season holder will miss this match.

QUOTE(genjo @ Jan 3 2019, 04:10 PM) where you get that package ? From LFC.TV. Very tedious to buy ticket. You need to join a membership which is like 29pounds or something. Then buy the ticket which comes with Hospitality (2 nights stay at Holiday Inn - which is a pretty shit hotel). Came up to about RM1,500 per pax.
