Hi I have been hunting around for my first property lately.
My budget is 300k to 400k plus. I have checked out quite a few that are around these prices.
But my concern is even those condos have too many facilities, and personally I dont give a shit about them.
I wonder whether facilities are part of the cost of buying if I were to buy those condos.
And since I dont give a damn about facilities, I wonder whether I can get newly built condos with lesser facilities, which of course shall comes with even cheaper prices.
Any recommendations?

You have to target RumahWIP or Prima Houses. Usually these come with less or none facilities. Developer also don't give shit to buyer asking less facilities and cheap price. That's not the way for them to make money.

For non affordable housing project, new launch that come with minimal or less facility is hard to find. Maybe non existing actually. Coz developer all following the trend. Nowadays ppl aim for facilities as attractive points. The more the merrier. Is a trend.

New launch undercon with no facility can aim at RUMAHWIP 300k or 198k project. Rumah Selangorku also come with zero facility except for security guard.

If not, you have to aim at subsale. All those medium cost apartment or lower grade condo come with minimum facility.

but i dont understand why you dont care about facilities.
if those come with gym n swim pool, you can spend alot of time in your own condo without going out. in others term, you save money also.

imagine:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday is your gym time.
Tuesday, thursday is badminton with neighbour.
week end is swimming with kiddo/wife/friend.

you save alot money on your daily activity and gym subscription fees.

Haha I dont use facilities often, last time stayed in a condo but hardly use the facilities, now moved out d.
That's y I find that paying for maintenance fees for a condo with facilities is kinda waste on me.
I dont go to gym at all, prefer to do exercise surrounded by nature;
I do badminton also la, I dont mind driving to badminton court playing with friends because but that one once in a while only.
Swimming ar, hmm I am good in swimming, but just dont do very often now, doesnt matter to me.
