 Maxis Home Fibre is hopeless

maxis is really hopeless on their customer service. Have been called more than 10 times no people pick up or direct me to other department which never really look into the issue.

here is the story:

Maxis upgraded to 100mbps 3 days ago, but without upgrade the modem, I should be more specific they are upgrading to 100mbps billing only. Now, I need to suffer with extreme high ping speed (90ms), download speed around 80mbps and upload speed only less than 10mbps.

I have been contacted Facebook , Live Chat, Call, all have been tried but no one solve the issue, report to MCMC but MCMC aduan website also not working.

What can I do to complain about this.

Good for you they upgraded your internet. Me, after countless times calls, still no call from them to upgrade. I don't really care about speed, as currently using 10mbps, but I won't pay more than I should. I'm thinking to terminate my current package. I don't want to waste my money on slower speed (10mbps) but more expensive now than 30mbps

bersyukur already upgraded lah...extra 20mbps wont make u flying.
walk-in to maxshit center lah


btw how come upload speed 10mbps only?

Call 1800-82-1123 no onw answer?

If MCMC website not working, you can look for their contact number and call them up to complain.

before upgrade, my ping speed is 5-7ms and upload speed is 20mbps, totally no issue on playing games or browsing internet. Now, after upgraded, it is totally worse than previously. Play game also lag, I also want to know why Maxshit gives me 10mbps instead of the advertised 50mbps.

Yes, alot of complain after Maxis upgraded. Better dont upgrade anything now.

Call 10++ times already. Either got customer service answered and said transfer to technical department and their technical department took 1 hours also no one answer then the call ended itself, or totally cannot dial in the customer service, forever waiting.

Sometimes is not price problem, is the usability. After upgraded worse than 10mbps, I would rather stay at 10mbps.

Maxis fiber customer service is really horrible.
My experience last 2 days:
1. 2 times they said they will call back as they have high call volume but never call back.
2. Wait in Que(IVR) for 30mins+ and when i someone picks up, they pretend they cant hear and put down the phone.
3. I made first call 2 days ago but they said they will call back to troubleshoot. they didn't call back. i had to call them again and again. when finally finish troubleshoot then they say got ETA 2 days to replace modem.

You are lucky, I just managed to create a case id today after 4 days, and yet they promised like previously said call me back but as usual never call me back.

i told them if they don't want to upgrade my old package then just terminate my account. They said cannot cause they already order an upgrade to my account. But still not upgrading mine. I'm going to complain to mcmc too, saying maxis try to cheat me. But what proof i have to submit? It's a phone call
