Not really. U Mobile limits all GX plans to FHD/1080p/3.5Mbps for video-streaming, even though official limit is SD/480p/1Mbps in the T&C, likely because of stiff competition from the other celcos' affordable prepaid plans since June 2020, eg Maxis's HUP35/45, Celcom's CUP35/45 and Digi's DUP35 which can give video-streaming at FHD/1080p or higher. .......

P S - Note that all celcos have to pay the national monopoly TM HSBB Fibre Wholesale company about RM90 per 30Mbps per month(= RM9 per 3Mbps) for their 4G cell towers' backhaul connection to the Internet or www. Hence the celcos have to limit this and that for their affordable phone plans.

Also, a 4G cell tower has limited bandwidth capacity of 400Mbps per 2X10MHz of frequency band. U Mobile has only about 1.2Gbps of bandwidth per 4G cell tower for its 4G LTE Band 1, 3 and 7, to be shared by its subscribers. If a U Mobile 4G cell tower has the capacity to serve 500 active subscribers = average only 2.4Mbps per subscriber. Theoretically, a UM 4G cell tower can only serve 12 active subscribers using 4G+/LTE-Advanced at 100Mbps
.......  In comparison, a TM Unifi Fixed Fibre line has a bandwidth capacity of 10Gbps per row of link-houses or condo, ie XG-PON or 10G-PON technology.

So, 4G networks are prone to congestion, eg a cell tower has too many subscribers being online at the same time and/or during peak traffic hours.

rm30 plan GX38 ?

that plan got speed cap 3mbps. i switch to GX68 average download speed is 20 to 30 mbps

Nowaday so many app request location, even just basic usage

Done anyone facing the issue like me , the call will not have sound after few seconds.

after validity expired, you can continue using data under u25/u35 but calls will be barred

basically, similar to current practice

Digi, at least the extra money you can subscribe to monthly plan which will automatically extend validity
