Tried 360p... Damn.. No way...

So for phone usage.. 480p or 720p is sufficient enough.

For PC & laptops.. 720p is minimum.. maximum depends.. if can support 4K then it's even better 💪👍

Problem is the network speed.. & stability....
That's why many us just keep minimum 480p for smoothness...

Umobile’s was free when I did it a few years ago.

For Hotlink, it was free too, but I heard recently that they don’t issue blank sim anymore. You are required to buy a new sim pack off the shelf, and then port in your number overriding the sim pack’s original number.

makes no difference actually after the number is tagged to the new sim.
the existing number will no longer be tagged.

At the start of the pandemic lockdown, my YES4G can't even stream 240p YouTube smoothly. I was ex-UMobile user too. Unable to stream 240p smoothly at night (before the pandemic).

There is the risk that this TM UF prepaid promo is limited time offer only or temporary = may not be advisable for postpaid subscribers to immediately switch to this prepaid promo.
....... For existing prepaid subscribers = less risk or problem if this TM prepaid promo is stopped 2 or 3 months later = can easily switch to another prepaid subscription, eg CUP35 or GX38.

IIRC, TM UF had also given this promo in Nov 2019 but lasted for about 2 months only before reverting back to Bebas Weekly RM20, ie no more Bebas Monthly RM40.

Will there be strict FUP limits for this promo.? = interested subscribers should wait a bit and see.

Afaik, TM UF prepaid Bebas plans are capped at 8Mbps. It's postpaid RM59 plan is unlimited speed but got quite low FUP limits. = can't normally use >50GB per month, macam HUP35.
