Well, if the hardware can support the high refresh rate up to 120hz, than I don't see a reason why not. It doesn't hurt in being wishful but I guess the Note 8 didn't make the cut into that list
*
Indeed. Even then I rate my confidence level would be around 20 percent for Note 9 to get 120hz refresh rate lol

Don't even think about Note 9. IMHO, I doubt even the Note 10+ would be able to get the 120hz refresh rate. Confirmed is only for the S11 series πŸ˜…
*
It's painful to admit but I had to agree 😭️🀣️

The article said found such option in beta oneUI 2.0 for
Note 9 and possibly means future Samsung phone will have 120hz.

Not in current Note 9 or any existing Samsung phone.
*
Yep. It's just a wishful hope of mine that Note 9 will get 120hz refresh rate.

Sadly, Samsung has started slowing down the security updates for the Note 8. It won't be long before they stop support for it πŸ˜“
*
Usually how long Sammy provides security updates? 3 years right?

No surprise there Bro. The Note 8 shipped with Android 7 out of the box and have gotten 2 major Android upgrades, with Pie being the last. If we want Android 10, got to flash custom ROM. Only way forward without changing the phone.
*
Provided there's an android 10 custom rom to flash to 😭️😭️

I don't see a reason why there wouldn't be one since the hardware is still able to support it. Even S7E  has Lineage OS 17 custom rom to flash πŸ˜…
*
I hope that applies to Note8 as well. Treble or not, at current state, still no working secondary camera for aosp and treble based Note8 rom 😭️. I think we will still get LN17, with some bugs ofc.

That kinda sucks Bro. Hopefully the rom developers continue their efforts to produce a stable ROM. The LN17 is still considered unofficial version which will be prone to bugs.
*
Shouldn't be a problem if u guys have fully working LN16. Its only a matter of time I believe. 😁️

With his prudent spending and accumulated wealth, the Galaxy Fold 2 is what he should be eyeing 🀭

Wish I could follow his footstep😭️. Samsung must put more effort into Fold 2 to please him next year 😁️

not fold fans too.. bad experiences 🀣🀣🀣

But Huawei mate fold look better than Sammy I think. But prone to scratches.

Waiting note 10 go 3k below.
*
Roughly how long the local set to fall below 3k? Both 10 and 10+ I mean.

I never seen the actual Huawei Mate Fold nor fold it, so can't really compare with the Galaxy Fold.

Not worth it than, paying RM10k for a phone that scratches easily.

Note 10 already was going for RM28xx during recent sales. Note 10+ is is trending close to 3.1k, both SME set.
*
If very kaya people still wtb and change phone regularly why not 🀣️. But I agree with u rm10k phone with terrible durability is certainly no go.

Seems like have to wait for a little longer for those who want note 10+

Rather than testing 5G, why don't they put more effort in supporting VoLTE instead doh.gif . Dang maxsh!t. ranting.gif

flex.gif  kan  whistling.gif  they very eager for the 5G... even 4G keep dropping and not whole country yet  doh.gif
*
Don't have much complaint for their 4g coverage. It's just the VoLTE has yet to be supported ranting.gif

QUOTE(Xaser_3 @ Dec 18 2019, 05:44 PM)
Eventually they will still need to rollout VoLTE for their 5G network. Not sure why they are sitting on it for so long.
*
And the waiting game continues 😱️😱️

It's like having a super car to drive but the local gas station only having Ron92 available for consumption, hence unable to unleash the full potential.
Sorry to hear this Bro. I suspect it could be two separate issues. Water damage is quite instantaneous, and won't take months for it to spoil. Even though Samsung phones since S7 series have IP68 rating, best not to bring the phone underwater to avoid unnecessary problems. Btw, S11 series launch is 2 months away
*
Lol I like your analogy 😁️

The hype is real for S11. Especially the camera and the battery πŸ‘οΈπŸ‘οΈ
