Abro radiator flush - RM11.90 from Ace Hardware The Starling Mall
4 bottle of Type 2 coolant - RM30 *4 = Rm120
4 bottle of distilled water - RM4
2x 9.6liter of tap water (in mineral water bottle)

1 bottle of Abro radiator flush + 2 distilled water (1.5 litre each), start engine on aircond full blast for 15mins ......

wait for 1hour to cold down and drain it ....

pour in 9.6 litre of tap water to flush out the dirts....

pour in 3.5litre of tap water , start engine , air cond full blast for 15mins ...then drain it out after 1hour....

last flushing , put in 3 litre of distilled water and start engine , full aircond blast ... 15mins...drain out

3.5litre of coolant pour inside after that....

took me almost 6hours for all process , coz im staying in condo and i go up and down every process... LOL

i have some sound coming from the front also. When on uneven road/yellow stripes on road my dashboard (center part) seems rattling abit.
It makes some eek eek noise that sounds like somewhere need some grease but i am unable to determine where it was from.

yes, im still driving it ... now at 9th year. flushing coolant coz i want to replace new coolant ....

Anyone here Honday Y2016 using irispro tint ?
Type and if any bad experiences issue so far ?

currently im using llumar 7 years edi , 4 side mirrow left right all bubbling.

i flushed because i want to make sure it is real clean.

the distilled water and tap water is use to properly flush out all the coolant cleaner.

i do not add water on honda type 2 coolant .

it is pure coolant .

they wont flush. they will just drain and refill it.

coolant around RM20-25 , 5 bottle around RM100-140. if just drain and refill , i can do it within 30mins, no need go to SC for 2hours....

i only flush it every 3-5yrs... my next flushing probably is the last since i will be selling it away ....

no la... 100k or 5yrs... where got 200k so long

Anyone encounter “klok2” sound on even the slightest uneven road surface from the front near driver side?

Send to mechanic no issue on absorbers, stabiliser or even row arms? Car only 54k km… could it be the front callipers which mechanic also check no unusual lose nuts etc

Which part of dashboard is that?

My car rattlings is 90% from A pillars.
I use foam tape on the pillar, solve most problem. Cheap thing, can buy from Shopee for less than Rm20. A pillar cover can easily be removed after removing the door rubber seal.

I also find that things that we placed on glovebox and the compartment below steering (right side) did contributed to the rattlings. I used bulky fabric pencil box to keep and hold my stuffs for added insulations and also fabric card holders for smaller stuffs here.

There are still some minor rattlings, but its only when driving on overly heighted yellow zebra lines (the slow down flat bumps before the big bumps).

Feel free to try DIY.

You guys may try to check if your insulator hood clipper is loose or the bottom part of it gotten out from the designated place. It should be inside the holes.
I noticed that once I put it properly, lesser rattling sound on dashboard. But the bottom part keep getting out, that’s why got noise. Thinking to change it

Yes, the inner plastic on both left and right aide of front windscreen. That’s A pillars. Remove the plastic trims to place some foam tapes. The cables, the clips, the mounting adaptor for roof lining, etc.. anything that u see shaky and have direct contact with car metal body can be insulated with the foam tapes. Try experiment with it, it took me few attempts to get it right.

Oh ya, i also find my car dashcam cable cords did contributed to faint rattlings as well. Used some cable tied and foam tape to secure it from having much movements and contacts with metal and plastic parts.

My old Honda City (2018 batch) warranty had ended last yr. Total mileage accumulated as at today was less than 50k km. Wonder any bros here still recommend to send it back to the service centre? Actually my service was way overdue (longer than 6 mths already as advised by Honda) and I didnt send it for service due to the low mileage. By the way, was quoted 760+ by Honda. Spark plugs was the main reason of the higher price.

Want to ask have you guys know where is the front inner door rubber seal impact buffer located when car out from factory. (try to use finger to push and run along the rubber seal to feel the sponge and bungy part)
