I started notice that my driver's door panel is making some tiny continuous tik tik tik tik sound when I driving my FL. If car is idle, no sound.. Like plastic loose sound inside panel.

Do you think SC wil; fix this kinda issue or this is normal ?

For tinting, do the shop remove the door panel ?

QUOTE(wilcwo2003 @ Mar 4 2019, 01:40 AM)
If you have previously removed the door panel, than this is to be expected. The clips are not tight anymore therefore something is knocking each other inside the panel.
You might want to root it out by replacing the clips, or check if something is loose or moving while car is in motion. Since the noise is not present during idle, so its safe to say something is moving along with gravity when car is in motion.

Mine got.. Cool light, if LED more nice.

QUOTE(babylon52281 @ Mar 5 2019, 04:16 PM)
Turn ON ur headlights. Do you still can't see the light under aircon controls? Then its bulb is blown and you can go back to SC for replacement.

1. Check car condition such as paintjob, tinting and all functions work properly
2. Check the chassis number for verification
3. Open front bonnet to see engine compartment
4. Test drive the car on the road with SA
5. Ask SA if any not understand how to use
6. Collect the car documents from SA especially copy of VOC, copy of insurance policy, service warranty booklet and user manual
7. Make sure got two sets of remote keys.

Yeah, my SA did the sop of briefing and test drive car. Even took photo with SA in front my car for Honda. I didn't buy sunshade package tho.

QUOTE(SMH @ Mar 6 2019, 01:39 PM)
I bought from Kah, and they have a standard procedure of briefing + checklist to follow upon releasing of new car to customer.

The only thing that was out of order is the tyre pressure (was pumped higher than 220 when i got it), and was shocked when open up the Honda sunshade packing - it comes in 3 pieces only while me & SA expect a 5 piece set. Unfortunately thats Honda thingy, as stated in Honda warranty book for Sunshade (a dedicated 3 page booklet for Sunshade), it comes standard as 3 pieces set.

SA spend her money for such gift, which i felt not worth at all getting accs from Honda. Would have gotten more for less if SA get after-market stuffs for gifts.

For those that purchased or opt for Honda Tint package, does all your side windows tinted security film on both sides of window - interior and exterior part?

Hi,

Want to ask , if FL City has automatic lock for steering when off the engine and open driver door ?

Or do I need to manually push the steering upwards to lock it ?

after u off the engine, u can turn the steering wheel to lock it manually. when on engine, steering will auto unlock.

I am wondering if i off engine , the steering wheel will auto lock by itself.

So far I tried don't seem to have this function.

My friend using new Myvi says got auto lock the steering wheel when turn off engine.

QUOTE(8sg9ft @ Mar 12 2019, 04:32 PM)
So far I never drove a car that auto locks the steering wheel when turn off the engine  sweat.gif

The only way you can have it "auto-lock" is by absolute luck. As in the steering wheel is already at the correct auto lock position when you switch the engine off. Lol

normally i off engine then only turn the steering wheel til hear click sound. When start engine by press start button, i no need turn the wheel and it will auto unlock.

Is this correct way ?

QUOTE(babylon52281 @ Mar 12 2019, 04:54 PM)
Yes it has. iinm have to turn the steering then switch OFF engine. On normal cars you can unlock steering by playing with the ignition key turns while turning free the steering. I can't remember how'd I free my City steering with the keyless start thou.... sweat.gif

Turn the wheel straight meaning the Honda logo is straight ?

QUOTE(otnuus @ Mar 12 2019, 05:35 PM)
I usually turn the wheel straight before off engine. Always found the steering wheel locked. After press start button the steering wheel is free.
