If renew via online, whether change insurance company or not, dont need to submit any document at all.

Just key in all the info online, you will then get a quote online.

Etiqa takaful seems to be cheapest too. Claim to share profit with customer though i never receive it....maybe they are making loss? hahaha....But i dont like their sucky service i experienced with them.

Cover note and policy all comes in PDFs via email 😅 immediately after online payment done. Beware that junk mail filter may flush it out though.

As for road tax, i use myeg service to get it done. Cheaper than myself travel to jpj/pos office. less than rm10 and it will efficiently delivered to my work place. can also take the chance to check if there is any saman under my name.

Just few clicks and all these done online 😁 new road tax then arrive on next working day. Really swift process. Totally paperless and much cheaper too. Power of internet....haha.

Next, just set an email/phone reminder for next renewal date.

On side note, colleagues found that outstanding AES saman didnt block them from renewing insurance, i was surprised when first heard about it.

With things able to be done online and save money too, i find that its harder for motor insurance agents to survive. When i move onto online renewal, i let go the trusty motor insurance agent which i used for years. Feel pity for them...

Anyone suggest what's the nicest but legal tint for White Honda City?
My salesman suggested:
30% front
50% sides and rear U shape.
More uniformed, only 2 tones.

Anyone with the above configuration can share pics?
*
If you really wanna tint below jpj compliance, i would advise to go darker since already breached. Mine is 35% for all but should have lower to 30 or 25. I'm going lower because i dont use the sunshade with the net design. It makes me blurry. Hence. I just make it lower vlt.

40% also breached, 30% also breached. Why not lower

I actually dislike too dark tinting because it affects visibility, especially on our poorly lit roads at night.

At first, you Will struggling, once get used to it. Should be ok. Anyway, some people will adhere to the rules and go for 3m and ecotint

So its okay to drive without buckling the seatbelts as long got used to the chime by drowning it with loud music? I see..... What an interesting problem solving methodology.
*
Yup. If the person doesn't want to put on the seat belt, anyone happen then its the person responsibility. The person wanted to put on non jpj compliance tint, get ready for saman. Thats easy.

Well. Some people easily adjustable to own preferences. One man's meat is another person's poison.

Why not get 185/60/15 tyres? There’s a wider range of choices. And it might come cheaper as well than the stock tyre size

185/60/15 and 175/65/15 also almost same - cc6, xm2, bridgestone also got

how about 195/50/15

i think the debate here is whether should we have darker tint. Well. I believe self-interest comes first.

For those tint darker, will say the car behind should be able to anticipate the distance
For those dont like darker tint will say the brighter tint will allow better visibility

in this case, we just need to drive carefully rather than tailgate. I dont agree for tailgate even with bright tint. It depends on this because everyone put self-interest first.

Rear mudguard.

Remove the body clip near the edge first.

You need metal clip for the screw.

[attachmentid=10224433]

Install clip to body.

[attachmentid=10224434]

Installed the mudguard

[attachmentid=10224435]

Put the body clip back to its position.

[attachmentid=10224438]

Less than 5 minutes if done correctly.

Bro where to find the metal clip, is it provided by seller?

I think pretty much any aircon compressor will sound louder once A/C just kicked in yo. Except maybe for those D-segment & luxury cars.
But I think City one isn't as overly loud as compared to my old Persona one, then again City aircon isn't as cold as my Persona.

Yes proton air cond da best

Who said this car is for speeding? You like to listen to your CVT drone sound?

Rather than listening to people, better you just service your car and change oil regularly.
*
Lol so this car is for driving below 100kmh?

Ferraris uses Shell 0W30 as their standard engine oil. Are Ferraris not for speeding?

Lower viscosity helps the engine reach top speed faster but at a higher fuel consumption. On the flip side, if running at lower speeds the lower viscosity reduces resistance hence improves FC but by a very marginal difference.
*
Yes, since default eo is 0w20, then I believe I'm unable to make it better fc. If using 0w30 then might increase the fc.
