Our stock rim is 5.5j x 15". Ideal tyre width is 175 & 185. Max width is 195. If i were u, i would go with 185/60r15 for stock rim coz the speed error is still within 3%. However it will reduce abit of your car's ground clearance. U can go for Goodyear ATM2 185/60r15.

It depends on what tyre size u using. 195/55r15 will reduce 15.3mm ground clearance compared to stock. 195/60r15 will increase 5.1mm ground clearance compared to stock. I used 195/60r15 on my 15" stock rim before. Quite sluggish and body roll is scary. I had to over-inflate all tyres. But this will create unequal wear of tyre thread.  And it defeat the purpose of stability. So i just changed the tyres back to 175/65r15 after 3 weeks of using it. In my opinion, 195 width is too much for our 5.5j rims. If u die die wana switch to 195, then change your rims to at least 6j.

Well my expectations would be hoping for negligible changes in performance (maybe better braking with higher contact patch?). I would prefer going for the cheaper XM2+ size if there is not much differences.

This is what convinced me that XM2+ is the best option within a budget of +/-RM200/pc.

Now changing all 4 tyres to Michelin XM2+ 185/60r15. One of my rim bengkok, had to repair.

Opt for outside alignment. The SC don’t even want to hide my dashcam wiring.

10k service dont need oil treatment & cleaner.
SC normally will try to sell these products to customers, but can tell them to opt out, as these aren't compulsory at all.

Some SC really not so helpful one when it comes to additional requests, like hiding wirings.

I felt my brake mushy & no bite since Day 1. Now I got used to it ady haha! I just leave a bit more space in front and gradually brake longer.

Some forumers recommend TRW DTEC pads. I might give it a go when its time.

Yes, it bulge out abit especially at the bottom since my tyre pressure was initially 32 psi (front) and 30 psi (rear). Now it bulge lesser coz i increased tyre pressure to 35 psi (front) and 33 psi (rear). By right 185 should still be ideal for 5.5jj rims. Even the Toyota Vios is using 15x5.5jj rims and 185/60r15.

If u read my previous post, i preferred the stock size of 175/65r15 instead of 185/60r15.
Maybe also true coz so far i only tested on Michelin Xm2 series.

Just read at honda city hybrid fb group, one fella was quoted rm20k for hybrid battery repair since his car got into recent flood. That is when he does not take the special perils perk.

But in the comments section, he did ask the SA if take special perils, the warranty for hybrid  + the official 5 years warranty WILL NOT BE COVERED afterwards anymore.

So does this means, after kena flood, even though take special perils, wont cover for damage anymore afterwards?

Then what is the purpose of taking special perils car insurance??
