either size is ok. battery life also doesnt really doesnt really matter. more important is the price (with SSD as i want fast boot)

Ok can increase to 2.5k but the lower better. Dont want to overspend as this is for light use only.

Hi All Sifus, looking recommendation for a laptop as per below:

1. Budget : less than RM2K
2. Usage : light usage, browse internet, facebook , youtube and MS Product edit
3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) : Compact and lightweight, easy to carry

As too many brand in market now and not sure which brand more reliable

Appreciate and thanks!

Suggest increasing your budget to 2.5k, otherwise you have to settle down with slow CPU / 4GB non-upgradable RAM / bad display if you want a well built model

thnx for ur suggestion. truly appreciate it 😁

any other options available? specs seems good for its price though, but I'm looking for more "simple" looking laptop like upcoming IdeaPad l340. keyboard with backlit is not a must, but rgb is not required at all.

Hi there, im looking for budget gaming laptop here, i'm currently focusing on 3 laptop. im only focusing on performance, cheaper cost and smooth pc, battery life and weight doesnt matter

1. Asus X570ZD
-AMD Ryzen 5 2500U
-Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 4gb
-4gb ram
-1tb hdd

2. Asus FX505DY (AMD version)
-Ryzen 5 3550H
-RX 560X 4gb
-4gb ram
-1tb hdd

3.Asus FX505GD

im using laptop for school works, gaming but ok with low setting, solidwork stuff.

What is your budget for the purchase? Personally i do not recommend you the FX series where it have below average cooling for a gaming laptop.

Any recommendation of gaming laptop(s) which have good cooling performance? How about cooling performance of Alienware, Razer? Lets say budget would be around 7k
Thanks.

Cooling performance depends on model

No preference on weight and battery life?

Illegear Selenite 9th gen
Level51 Slate-17
Illegear Onyx 9th gen
Level51 Slate-15
Asus GL504GV
Dell G7 7590 - CPU power limit issue

Will not recommend some 9th gen models for now until I get more info

Dual channel RAM is highly recommended

1. Budget : below 3k
2. Usage : for study and office use, sustainable, worth the price (not necessary for high graphic as not using for video editing etc)
3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) : for lady usage, light to carry.
Any brand and model to be recommended? Is MS Surface Go a good deal? Or Matebook D (but seems to be a lil bit heavy ~2kg)

Max weight in kg and min battery life in hours? Any preference on display size? Mind low sRGB display and non-upgradable RAM?

What do you mean by sustainable?

2kg and last for 6hours usage maybe? (not a pro so don't know the usual fact of these) preference size 13.3" or 14" is good enough (MS surface go seems to be too small) Don't really mind about about non-upgradable RAM but prefer a nice display haha
sustainable i mean to be able to last for few years usage (less problems)

You might want to increase your budget then:
1. Laptops with nice display usually >3k
2. If you want the laptop to last for a few years, consider premium business laptops (cheapest is T480 which is above your budget), however many of them don't have good sRGB display (display upgrade costs extra)
