no u canot, u need to intro them through slipt cage, and hv to monitor them, do when u are at home with them. if they fight, they can kill each others. never dump new gerbil in ur gerbil clan. or 2 which don't know each others.

if the argente is female, then kamikazwe can have it la foo... i'm looking for a male so that can join with my other males... if female, later 'terberanak' susah lor...

Females are harder to intro.... older females very dominant, sometimes can fight to death.... introduction can take months to do.

if intro-ing i need a bigger room...hehehe...for not my room is like a warehouse...dang la wei.....hehehe....

Intro no need bigger room. Just need a split cage. The tank must have only bedding, water bottle & food bowl. Other things must be out. Change your bedding & wash your tank with detergent before intro-ing. Put the new one inside the split cage & inside the tank. Once you are free, you can start intro them by placing them on a place around 2ft wide such as table one by one. First will be the new fella, then the old fella which you feel is the less dominant one. Watch them carefully. If you see them sniffing each other & don't move, use a cloth to separate them. Once you feel they can get along after few minutes, put in another & repeat the steps till the last one in. If you see the new one like panic then must keep an eye on him/her. If others go sniff him/her & he/she runs away, others will chase him/her. So separate them with cloth.

Wah Kamikazwe, really having fun with the gerbils huh, wanna add more to the clan Any pet also new and old one needs to be introduced one, be it cats, sugar gliders, gerbils and so on. The older ones will always be a bit dominant, that's why introduction is needed

O ya, forgot to mention this. Even though you did those steps i mentioned just now. Don't straight put the new one into the tank. The introduction needs to be done few times & as frequent as you can. If you see them are ok after few times of introduction then you only put the new one into the tank follow the sequence like you put them on table. Then watch them & see how they react. Sometime they are fine when outside the tank but will have fighting sign inside the tank. You must spend at least 1hour looking at them when you put the new one in tank. Check on them as frequent as you can if they are ok for the first few hours inside the tank. Same as usual only bedding, water bottle & food bowl. Toys only can be put in after a week. The wooden house is around 2 - 3 weeks when they are really get along.
