yes ch and p will lighten the color of coat, ch, p and Spotted will lighten the coat, n all recessive gene do lighten the coat.
so anything pair up n come out with chch, it looks like some out Pink eye, White color coat.
PEW: --(a) chch --(d) --(e) --(g) pp
DTW: -- chch -- -- -- P-
so once chch bang together. they come out either PEW/DTW
Now all interested in DTW? I also may have 2 DTW or PEW.... still dunno which colour yet coz still pups. Sigh, wait and wait hahaha.

The ch gene removes nearly all colour pigments (in the fur and in the eyes too), but it isn't causing an absolute true "Albino", because the tail still can be coloured to a more or less extent. This sort of acromelanic albinism is called "Himalayan Albinism" by scientists.
Both, the Himalayan ch and the Colourpoint cchm are located at the same gene location and both are acting the same way, too, but ch is much more effective in bleaching all of the coat colour of the body.
http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/e...bils/colors.htmThe DTW won't show black eyes coz the Ch and Ch in their genes erase out the colour from the eyes, skin and fur but leaving colour only on the tail. Also, the colour of the tail may vary if it is Aa or aa or Sp... but I think for us, temperature is important. Who wanna experiment place DTW gerbil in air cond room?
