i wonder if my complain to unifi will change anything. since time announced so much later, and done with their upgrades.

Unifi supposingly should upgrade from 15th Aug, and in their website stating that it will take until Jan 2019.

Why am i paying RM139 for 30mbps, when they have an existing plan of RM79 for 30mbps. Im pretty sure i dun use more than 60GB per month. Meaning im paying an additional of RM60 for around 5 months. Thats RM300++ (include SST).

Hi all, can I confirm that TM is throttling the P2P BT downloading speed? I am using 800Mbps now but can only download 5 to 10 MBps now vs previously I can consistently download at 10MBps at 100Mbps package.

As mentioned in my previous post, I'm able to get 68MB/s download speeds on certain sites. And yeah consistent speeds I mean. So I don't think my PC's network is having any performance issues.

Anyway I just tested the Centos torrent using my iMac to make sure. Wasn't able to go beyond 10MB/s. =[

I'll post the video regarding youtube throttling later. Hope you guys can help test if it's the same.
Is your friend using VPN? I'm using SSD too (NVMe), so don't think that's the issue.

Summary of my process:

1) Spoke to livechat, copy paste template replies as expected. However, I insisted the staff to create a report ID for me as I told him I will be using it to raise the matter to MCMC.

2) Lodge a complaint at MCMC with a reason of unfair pricing. Made it clear that I will only accept either one of this two options as a solution, either give me my Turbo upgrade or give me monthly rebates so that I pay RM129 monthly until I get my Turbo upgrade.

3) A week after this MCMC complaint, I see a new report ID created. Then someone from TM called and promised the upgrade will be done within 2 weeks.

4) Since I have this report ID, I kept on following up with livechat every 2 days. On the 4th day (second followup), an hour after my conversation with livechat, a modify order was submitted in the system. Received Turbo-ed SMS about 2 hours after this modify order was submitted.

I thought you are supposed to get 800Mbps? Why 500Mbps only?

Just sharing my experience. Have you also disabled apps analysis, QoS, AiProtection?

I could hit 800+Mbps initially after applying NAT acceleration but then it will slow down to 260-300Mbps tops. Then, I have to turn off and on NAT Acceleration again to hit 800Mbps but it will again drop down to 260Mbps.

Finally, one time when it drops to 260Mbps, I just re-applied NAT Acceleration again (without turning off and on). The setting finally stuck. I have been getting 800Mbps ever since (even after rebooting).

I am using Asus RT-AC68U hardware ver A2 if not mistaken. Firmware is latest from Asus Support 3.0.0.4.384_32799.

Have you tried using another laptop/PC to check speed?

Suggest you raise ticket with Asus Malaysia (https://www.asus.com/my/support/). It seems that your router's NAT acceleration may have a problem. Like mine, have to apply twice to make it work.

........mind to test something? Change the MTU and MSS to 1480?
