Can normal ADSL modems be used as BTU for Unifi?
*
ADSL modem is for ADSL
BTU is for fibre, some refer to ONT (Optical Network Terminal), not sure why TM name it Broadband Termination Unit

Have you updated your Intel Wifi driver? And have you checked your settings like below?

https://www.intel.sg/content/www/xa/en/supp...networking.html

If all else fails, then our NUC probably has smaller antennas, and you need to use USB Wifi adapter.

Bcoz Intel 8265 on laptops should be able to get 400-500 mbps on your Asus. Even my former HP laptop using Intel 8265 can reach 220 mbps on TP-Link C1200.

Also on 500Mbps with RT-AC68U here.
And also using a NUC with AC 8265.

Can achieve 500Mbps on WiFi.
How far is your NUC to the router?
*
nuc just beside router haha
i have updated 8265 driver yesterday

Great article. 100Mbps is stupidly fast for most people already, even if you need to download multiple GB files.

The ability to download 40+ GB and upload 20+ GB per hour is no joke. In one day you can nearly grab 1TB off the net.

How many people have multiple TB arrays that need to be continuously filled everyday?
*
hdd also spoil faster if everyday 1TB lol... SSD have TBW life span and HDD read/write spinning also....
