Those who are on 100Mbps, really need cable to achieve full 100Mbps? I tried wifi max around 90Mbps only.... and I have high end Asus AC86U

IMHO, if you don't need the 800 Mbps speed and you're paying over 200 for 100 Mbps with Ultimate pack n unlimited call. Better to downgrade to the new 100 Mbps pla., Save some money?

for me, instead of getting 1 unit Asus Ac5300, better to get 2 unit Dir-885 and create more wired Wireless AP for the 5ghz system, so that everywhere guaranteed getting a full speed. lol

Notoriously known by the CS department already, they address me by my "bitching" username already, not by my real name. "Mr.Mike". I asked them why call me "Mr.Mike" instead of my real name, there was a pause and they just say that's part of the report info they have. Sorry folks, looks like 800Mbps is a fleeting "wired only" dream now. WiFi on my 68U still only 250Mbps, 300Mbps max between my Mac and Windows devices. Is it enough to justify the price I'm paying? The jury is out on that, not until I see the pricetag they're gonna slap me with.

Anybody have the Asus Rapture router with 800Mbps line? What kinda speeds are you getting on 5Ghz? Or other recommended routers for 800Mbps line, I'd appreciate any recommendations. going to LYP today to check for options.

After promising to get the technical team to call me and then raised several complaint reports, I kenot tahan already and went straight to TMpoint Cyberjaya.

I calmly explained my frustration of paying RM316 monthly for 100mbps while everyone else is enjoying the same speed at a much lower price then the front desk lady asked me whether I want to downgrade to the new RM129 100mbps package or cut the Turbo queue. I opted for the latter (I wanted a temporary discount OR faster upgrade to turbo'd speed) and then she wrote this behind my queue ticket and told me to explain to the staff at the counter that I demand for a faster turbo upgrade by cutting the queue:



When my number came up, I explained the same thing and the staff said she understands and will send the instruction to the Turbo technical team and upgrade my line as soon as possible. The staff at the counter proceeded to give me a customer retention form and I filled it up on the spot. She said the upgrade will take place within 2 weeks.

I guess I'm gonna have to be patient for the next 2 weeks while waiting for the speed upgrade and my 20m Cat7 cables to arrive from Shopee..

EDIT: My Cat7 cables just arrived less than 2 minutes after writing this.. lol

suggest you to get the new 129 100mbps package, you save A LOT more.

800mbps turbo is definitely a welcome, but your current router and smartphones and computers might not support that speed.

might as well TM will offer 129 users to upgrade too 300/500/800 in the future with some topup

Really unfair treatment by TM. Not our fault their did not upgrade their infrastructure. At least give fair pricing la. 30mbps should pay below RM100
