Ya, this Router - D-Link DIR-842 supplied by TM run cool and perform well.

i put it this way and 360 deg ventilated.

Self made attachment for the wall mount screw holes at the back of router.

That bracket is made from old computer case metal part rivet to the case for HDD and CDRom.

my speed is 100Mbps, speed test can get 105Mbps.

However when use YTD Youtube downloader to download youtube video, speed is less then 100kbps.

why like that?

Agree, with my 100Mbps line, D-Link DIR-842 is good enough to cover whole house with max speed.

there is Tenda AC18 thread in Lowyat, if not mistaken performance not bad, some even compare it with Asus AC68U.

Tenda AC15 also is similar to Tenda AC18 in spec (according to seller OOKS), looks nicer also.

at pricing RM2XX, and 3 year 1 to 1 swap warranty, can give it a try.

TP link AC1200 retail version is not same to TP Link AC1200 Tm version.

TM version is known to have lots of complain.

9 months after new installation, my tp link AC1200 kaput, TM warranty replace Dlink Dir842 for me. Do i entitle any warrant6 for this new router?
