Once setup and tested the router, pls share your experience.

Good luck to your Tplink Ac1200, this TM router well known for problems.

Is this because in other market Asus selling cheaper, in Malaysia mkt Asus selling at premium pricing.

Maybe only happen to certain batch and they have rectify it on new batch.

But given choice, take dlink dir842 comafe to tplink c1200

is it different TM Point different SOP, i upgrade to 100Mbps from 30Mbps, they told me will be done in 24Hr, but when i reach home, I already get 100Mbps after reboot all device and on Unifi a/c also shown 100Mbps.

When i first told the CS i want to upgrade, she not sure, she call up maybe her superior, then confirm can.

After thumb print and key in system, she told me my plan is RM159 for 100Mbps.

i show her the promo got 2 package for 100Mbps, RM129 and RM159.

After checking with superior again, she confirm her mistake to put me on Ultimate pack, so revert to "unifi 100Mbps (STB) BEST"


Finally i got RM129 with Set top box Ruby package 100Mbps. maybe because she call up superior 2 times so need to complete my order fast fast.

TM router can pakai only la, best model is dlink dir842.
If want anything better, buy your own.

So this package continue or not?

Got 1 question, my speed test can get full speed 100Mbps, download at Microsoft website also can get around this speed, why torrent download movie speed most of the time is in-consistent at less then 30Mbps?

Yes, i know, previously before upgrade to 100Mbps, i am able to torrent up to my max speed 30Mbps, after upgrade, only speed test increased, torrend speed decreased.

i am also using D-Link DIR-842.

it should be able to give you full 100Mbps DL, if connect using 5G within 15 ft with 1 wall.

if connect using 2.4G most likely get 50Mbps DL, with same range.

frankly, i feel faster when i was at 30Mbps, now at 100Mbps only speed test get 100Mbps,

other things all feel the same except torrent is slower then last time,

when i was at 30Mbps, torrent get full 30Mbps speed, now at 100Mbps, torrent is throttle down to unstable speed, from 1Mbps to 50Mbps, and very slow to reach higher speed.

ya, really, at my house of 4 person using around 10 online devices, 30Mbps is good enough, no one have any complaint any lag or speed problem. 2GB movie download using torrent need only less then 10 min.

now after upgrade to 100Mbps, every thing feel the same, torrent movie become slower, longer then 10 min, torrent always start at very low speed, slowly slowly increase but never hit 100Mbps.

The only thing show fast is faster is speed test, showing 100Mbps compare to last time 30Mbps.

i do upgrade is because price reduce from RM139 become RM129, save Rm10.\

by the way, it is not my router got problem because i have 3 router, Asus AC68U, TpLink Archer C7 V4, DLink 842. all having similar tested performance.

Does that mean consumer under contract allow to switch plan without penalty?
