Just now I got a call from TM as well, number 03-79333300 regarding turbo upgrade for 1 of my 3 accounts.
This particular account is still using a non gigabit BTU, and their technician will come to replace it... within the next 2 weeks. rclxub.gif
However, the staff said he didn't receive any instruction about my other yet to be turboed account; which doesn't need new hardware sweat.gif bangwall.gif
He said the technician cannot submit the turbo order, it has to be done by someone at the office.

wah.. it seems TM finally realized that RM189 for 800Mbps + ultimate pack is way too cheap.. hence many on that package getting only 500Mbps turbo instead of 800 Mbps laugh.gif

Probably due to the many MCMC reports as well, and even complains on their social media about this elusive RM189 package.

Update:
Suddenly a lot of active activities at my unifi portal log sweat.gif
All different order no.
The ones dated 19 Oct were actually closed before, those are for price modification on my accounts, no idea why the status turned 'order processing' now. I was told on livechat that the staffs who are authorized to change the price can also submit turbo order; however it wasn't done along with the price adjustment.


Turbo is imminent? hmm.gif

Last time I got the STB for free by opting to renew contract
If you choose to do that try asking for a router as well, can keep it as spare

This morning.. the account that needs hardware change got the turbo upgrade sweat.gif
Order submitted yesterday and this morning already completed
So only 1 more account remaining.. which happens to be my main one

From my experience, it depends. Once in a blue moon they straightaway suspend within 2,3 days but most of the time they will message or call you first. Email even, If by phone the staff will say can you pay before X date or such.
On email if they msg says 'urgent' and still no payment they will suspend within 24 hours. laugh.gif
You can always contact them and explain your situation.

for my 1st account back in 2010, I was given a randomly generated password.

however when I signed up for my 2nd and 3rd account back in 2011 or so, I managed to choose my own password. IINM I wrote the password on a form when applying.. either that or I asked the TM staff for a non random password, not sure since it was so long ago sweat.gif

just now TM techs came to replace my BTU. new one is HG8240h


if anyone remembers, last time I posted about some speedtests done on Vigor 2130n for a few unifi 800 accounts at my place and I was unable to hit max speed

for this account, I tested on tm's speedtest page and managed to hit 800Mbps
cpu usage spiked to as high as 98% though

cat5e cable (from tplink) from router to BTU
cat7 ugreen flat cable (20m) from router to my laptop (intel i5-4210u cpu) using ugreen usb3 to gigabit adapter

Actually the technician already solved my issue (replace BTU) a few hours back, but somehow he didn't close the ticket. So I have been randomly checking in the portal and I can see the different places he has been to laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

1 of my accounts got upgraded, had to replace BTU. No charges and no contract renewal.

If on 10Mbps (paying RM129 or RM149?) I would straight away self upgrade to 100Mbps@RM129
Doesn't make sense at all to wait for them to auto upgrade your account unless you are paying lower than RM129 for that 10Mbps - so that you can keep that lower price but with 100Mbps once they auto upgrade the account.
