What do your do with 10 Mbps and how long does it take you to get to 200 GB?

10 Mbps can't even watch full HD stuff.
More bandwidth more overhead to do stuff like streaming, download and capacity for many users. How much overhead you need it is willing to pay for is up to you. But I agree, the should be more speed levels and price level although I'm more inclined for higher speed for less money simply because in this era, internet access is a utility just like water and electricity. If you view like that, then the it should be very much cheaper.
for people who do not really stream video, 10mbps is more than enough to do a lot of things. 10mbps line can finish download 300GByte in ~72hours, you can add 10hours +/- for overhead or if DL source couldnt go for 10mbps. (which I find is rare these days DL source couldnt seed 10mbps) . Our lowest Internet package is still far higher than other countries, I find this unacceptable for something to be call utility at this price & I dont like to pay extra for something I didnt use despite i can afford it.

There should be 30M and 50M packages. The problem with the current new RM79 30M is the quota. Its suitable for light users but maybe not the average user. I think they have to put that quota for now. Imagine if Streamyx users who have Unifi coverage but paying RM88 - 120 will likely switch to that if there is no quota for it. They will lose even more money. Similarly for high-rise users will be able to go from RM179 to RM79.
I have asked customer service a few times about this quota. They cannot or won't tell about what the add-on quota is next year. It is bad enough when you sign a 2 year contract with certain T&C and yet they can change the T&C when they like. It is even worse when you have to sign a 2 year contract without actually knowing the exact T&C (for the ad-on quota).
I won't be surprised if they don't implement the quota next year, after they sign users to new 2 year contract for other packages at higher prices. Or they offer RM10-20 upgrade to 30M Basic users to remove the quota, though I guess that is not exactly add-on quota.
The problem with the new 50M package is, that it does not exist... yet... ??
I also think that 30mbps with quota is to stop we all sub that package. TM know full well a lot of casual user like us will sub low speed package.
To my surprise no ISP seesm to willing to do low price package to attract consumer. It seems like all of them join together do price fixing like cartel to miantain average user pricing.
Gobind Singh doesnt seems to be making enough effort to break the ISP cartel. If ISP market is fully open, prett ysure some new ISP will jump in and making this low price package available, killing the current ISP market share. (I'll love to see that happen)
