Still getting similar speeds after disabling MU-MIMO and OFDMA

Hi, currently considering to use deco x50 as an access point to replace my faulty ax92u WiFi system

Planning to set it up as following

AX92u(main router, WiFi disabled) -> Deco X50(mesh WiFi system)

Required feature for mesh WiFi: separate 2.4ghz and 5ghz band

Current speed: unifi 500mbps, ideally future proof for future speed upgrade

WiFi speed & coverage unstable + one of the unit randomly crashing

Asus also emailed me about the router may have some hardware issue(WiFi) based on the logs but it’s out of warranty

Yup, I’m using a cooling fan for both my ax92u router and node

Hi, just wondering which router would be suitable to replace my AX92u node?

Was thinking maybe RT-Ax86U Pro or GT-AX6000
Looking for future speed upgrade to support higher internet speed down the line, if possible I would like a router with long term firmware support (around 3-5 years at least), if ASUS still supports their router like the ac68u... seems like RT-AX86U pro is having better firmware support for some reason

Current main router is Zenwifi XT8, 1 pack (nodes are connected via Ethernet Backhaul),
Current internet speed is Unifi 500mbps

I see, which one should I put as the main? Zenwifi XT8 V2 (currently set up as main) or (ax86U pro or GX6000)

Hi, just wondering what would be the difference in terms of coverage between the TUF AX4200 and Zenwifi XT8 V2?

what about 2.4ghz mainly for IOT devices?

I see, just wondering if I should reshuffle my routers and pair AX86U pro and the TUF AX4200 together(zenwifi xt8 v2 would run standalone) or should I go with Zenwifi XT8 V2(1 unit) and AX86U pro (except I'm having roaming issues with this combination )

The roaming issue with the zenwifi xt8 v2 and ax86u pro combo is devices would always get stuck on the zenwifi xt8 v2 and would not roam/ very slowly roam to the ax86u pro, I've tried setting the roaming assistant from -70 to -60, it did help a bit, but it's not as good as Zenwifi XT8 V2 and AX92U combo also I did swap their role around(ax86u pro as the main router) and also the same issue, devices would get stuck with the zenwifi xt8 v2 but devices roaming from ax86u pro to zenwifi xt8 has no issue roaming

I see, I guess ax86u pro would be better be paired with TUF AX4200?

If yes, which should be the main router (I'm using Unifi 500mbps)?
