Multi-metering is the generic term where the whole frame is calculated for the proper exposure.
All brands have their own special name to it. Like Nikon's 3D Matrix Metering, Canon's Evaluative Metering, Sony's Multi-Segment Metering, Olympus' ESP Multi-Pattern Metering, etc.

owh ok...thats multi metering....i tot is was some special skill using the spot metering or something...hehehehhee...=) thanks compmac!

Seems a tad underexposed for the first picture and for the 2nd picture, too much bokeh. Even the yellow bits of the flower is OOF. Also time to change your siggy since you bought your new toy already

shinchan... if not mistaken i m using f8 @ 1/60 ISO 200 any advice? btw this is my first time using the system...so no experience yet...any advice will be helpful...=)

Unless you do a soft fill-in flash for the flower.

the airport pics are blurred..
but i like the flowers and sceneries..nice ^^..

Photos seem to not show the true potentials of your new lens. Photos doesn't look sharp.
Colors are very mild as well.

Maybe you should get a monitor calibration device. Like a ColorVision Spyder2Express. It calibrates your monitor to true colors and the color profile can be used in photoshop as well. So when you edit your photos, anywhere, the color should be the same.
