No significant difference between 720p n 1080p for me probably because I am old guy (62). I don't see pixel on 720p either on my previous 720p phones too

Don't care about OLED screen, I'm happy as long as it has wide colour gamut.

Lower pixel count than Xs doesn't concern me either since it has the same 326 ppi as my iphone 7. As long as it's not blurer than my iphone 7, i'm good.

Only single rear camera? My iphone 7 is the same. Good enough for me.

That yellow iphone though....i need that yellow goodness in my life...

I can also attest to that.. my mum's 5S and kid's iPad Mini 2 is struggling somewhat on iOS 11, haha...

Now I'm curious to see if my mum's 5S will survive iOS 12

yellow coloured phone is very hard to come by. Especially a yellow smartphone.

I was disappointed with iphone 5c pastel yellow. Now iphone xr yellow is my kind of shade of yellow

The coral and yellow variants do not look that nice. somehow they looks like the Colours of highlighters. And the side aluminium color does not seem to fully match the Color of the back.

I think the display cannot be that bad. if Apple dares to make the claim, it must be not bad indeed.
So far from the review of XR from those YouTubers who had attended the event and who had seen both XR and Xs display both in the real, and yet they have not immediately pointed out the display of XR is poorer comparing to the OLED one. It should be ok. Apple's LCD to date are all ok since they first introduce Retina display.

My iPad mini 2 is running iOS 10 and it is still very smooth for normal usage.

Will not upgrade to newer iOS even iOS 12 claims to improve performance for old devices.

The PPI is the same as the regular iPhones 6,7 and 8, so I'm thinking it shouldn't be that bad but yeah, hard to judge till we see it for ourselves.

i have ios 12 final beta installed on the ipad Air and it does run smoother, no more laggy animation but only slight improvement in opening n running apps

considering air and mini 2 share almost the identical spec u should just go ahead and install, no point sticking to ios 11

Honestly, I like iPhone 7 anodised red shade. If iPhone xr red resemble iPhone 8 red, l’m not really fancy it.

I share your view too. The Product Red looked less attractive on the iPhone 8 as compared to the iPhone 7 previously, maybe due to the difference in finishes on glass and aluminum. Remains to be seen what it looks like on the Xr but I’m guessing more like the 8. I’m eyeing either Blue or White

same here, still not convinced to pay above 4k for any phone. i rather go for ipad pro instead, massive hardware, feel more worthy for my money paid. i can get anything i need as in the iphone, plus can use apple pencil. the ipad camera is very good also now, heck i even take picture and video with it.. considering the xr, but lets see.. maybe not

Definitely will get one for me wife. Now considering the color between Blue, Red or Yellow. Coral too plain on the bezel.

But your wife might end up picking Coral since it does have a very feminine flavour to it
