LCD is fine with me. Infact I "hate" Oled displays as I find it being overly bright

Msian prices are crazy more expensive vs US. Yet we see locals are willing to pay for it. Their reasons - proven eco system, smoothness , speed , app stability etc. Personally I will not pay more than rm4k for a phone even for such reasons. I had used all the IP till ip8+ ( except 5s) and yet remain unconvinced IP is more superior to other high end Androids. The only exception s it's better battery life but than isn't significantly better. This time I will go for the XR model and as usual will just be my secondary phone. My main attraction to it is solely it's 6.1 " display size

No significant difference between 720p n 1080p for me probably because I am old guy (62). I don't see pixel on 720p either on my previous 720p phones too

No one knows...even in tier 1 and 2 countries is reported to be at least a month later after 21-28 sep ( release of Xs). Guess we could expect it probably around mid to end Nov here ?

I do agree with his argument that Apple shouldn't even offer at all 720p display at it's asking price

Many YouTubers discouraging to buy the XR simply because they felt even at us700+ Apple can easily give a 1080p display. Most felt Apple think buyers will not notice the poorer display or as some said to dupe "stupid" buyers
Even so analyst forecast the XR will be the best seller

My last purchase with them, they used Ninjavan
The courier guy called me and was even willing to meet me somewhere else in town to make delivery. He called when he found no one at home

Seriously I don't think Apple app are better - perhaps it is for games only
Apple fans always said Apple app design are better ? I don't find it so at least for all my app ( no games)
I had yet to find a good app for both my iPad n iphone 8+ for tweeter, mail, Facebook. The ones on my Androids are way way much better : tweetcaster pro, maildroid and swipe for Facebook. The tweetcaster version for Apple is simply poor in comparison. Currently using echofon , built in mail and Facebook for the iphone. I had googled and tested practically all I could find and yet to find a satisfying iOS app. Any tips is welcome for these 3 app??

Was quite firm on the XR but got a very attractive offer from a Spore friend on his less than 2 weeks old 256gb XsMax . He just doesn't like it and prefers his Note 8! Guess he is like me, more of a pro Android user. He will be seeing me next week to deal. BTW he is a rich guy and willing to dispose it cheap cheap to me . He is willing at my offer price! Update you guys the price once I had finalize the deal with him.

Looks like high possibility the XR will be available together with the Xs , Xs Max series .

If your data usage matches the contract offer , than go ahead
I know of some who signed up contract paying rm90 to rm120 a month but only use less than 50% of the data
This is wasting money . You need to weigh the savings of the phone price you can get from the contract . You could get a cheaper phone but end of 24 months you are paying higher as the data was not fully well utilised

But you plan to buy a local set and sell this HK set off?
