QUOTE(verx @ Jul 5 2007, 11:15 AM) Well well Couldn't resist to throw the bait rite? Guess it's for me Ferrari fans must have had a field day yesterday with all the news flying ard. Here are my thoughts as u have so humbly requested First of all i find it very hard to believe that a man of Stepney's stature and reputation would do such a thing. He had been with Ferrari for 13 years and was one of the instrumental figures in their revival with Schumi, Brawn and gang. I'm going to say that he's innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. As for McLaren, again i find it very hard to believe that a big corporation would risk so much to intentionally "steal" information from a rival team. It just doesn't make any sense. Why get into all that legal trouble? Mike Coughlan has been caught with his pants down and because of that he has brought McLaren's reputation into disrepute. I don't think the team knew much about it and that Mike have acted on his own accord. I think it's good that McLaren has so far been very cooperative on the matter and I don't think they used any of that Ferrari data found in Mike's house. Why do i think that? Because an F1 car is complex enough that u can't just steal info from another car in April, having built yours way back in 2006, and just modify yours with the new info and expect the car to suddenly fly. So imo the suggestions that McLaren's good reliability and speed this season is because of the "stolen info" are just plain ridiculous and Ferrari fans are just being threatened by our good showing so far this season. You guys can do better than that. |

first badluck for lewis
off topic - mark this name, Ben Kasperczack QUOTE(Four-year old gets signed to pro-motorsports contract) ![]() Top-level athletes are being identified at younger ages all the time, with most tennis or gymnastics prodigies being noticed by age 10. Over in the UK, motorsports are huge, and four year-old Ben Kasperczack has just been signed to a four-year contract with Motorsport World. That's right, 'lil Ben isn't even old enough for kindergarten and he's been granted unlimited track time, his own mechanic, and all the equipment he'll ever need. It's easy to dismiss such a contract as little more than a publicity stunt, yet Ben has shown an amazing knack for recognizing understeer and oversteer (most adults aren't as fortunate), and he knows just when his tires need changing. Since at age four he's completely fearless, Ben also maintains the most aggressive driving line possible, which makes him faster around the track than most adults. We don't know if Michael Schumacher should worry about any of his records just yet, but the karting world will have to wait four more years before Ben Kasperczack competes in his first race with other drivers. Let the hype machine begin. |

QUOTE(mcchin @ Jul 10 2007, 06:27 PM) technically well said it was the so called driver of that car that overcooked the corner that flatspotted the tyres plus his "tidak apa" attitude that cause the suspension to break the final decision is still with the driver a driver must at least have a bit of sense how the car is doing not just drive to the max/best he could failing that, he might as well be a drone and be told how to shift, how to take a corner, how to brake for example... massa early on the season have a better start than kimi why? you can say kimi need time to adjust to the car... tyres ...blalalalal but the fact is...during offseason while massa is busy developing with the team, kimi is busy holidaying with his gf getting paid the highest of the two, but do less work now it seems ferrari have built a better car around Kimi, and massa have the sh@t end of the stick again Well, you might say , "why would ferrari waste another talent?" Simple.. Pure Logic. between the two who would you bank on furthering your mission with? and experience driver but a tad old or a brilliant but lazy rookie one you can't change father Time the other you can still change the attitude thats why Barrichello quits ferrari because they were never a two driver team there are only one Driver for the team another is called Constructor Point Drivers edit: typo in red |
