Thats the whole idea of having an Iphone. I want everything to be in my phones and and the go. If not I would need to carry a laptop, digital camera, HDDs around. But I do have carry a laptop around for work because there ia an important task my job that could only be done through a lappie. .

i pass by several apple store in sg to check xs leather case... surprisingly sold out.. left couple silicone... using some cheap tpu casing while msia release and grab 1

google symbolic link if you using window.. i route the backup folder to my backup hdd instead backup in my ssd..

But google photos has amazing sorting in the software. It even can track by face / name if we label accordingly.

Of coz I upload photos to google, fb, ig but those r selected photos. my private photos never go to cloud.

Also, when I go rural areas or offshore which I often do, there is no way I can get those photos if they’re on cloud.

Imaging suddenly missing your daughters and loves one when you’re alone in the middle of the sea, you can see all good memories back and it make my day.

cloud is for backup purpose.
if both your phone / computer backup rosak, you still can retrieve from cloud.

since you value your old memories so much, it is best to upload all to cloud, unless your private photos are naked photos / contains sensitive info.

Correct. But I find Album in Photos on the IPhone does quite a good job in sorting my photos according to location and date.
