Guys, i have an issue. I orderd a product, and within a few minutes I cancelled it cause I changed my mind. I thought if it's within a few minutes, the cancellation is automatically accepted!! Like many of my previous transactions before. I didn't notice it until this morning that the seller has to respond to it?????????

And now that i have ordered the same item from another seller, which i don't think can cancel anymore. What should i do with the other item if the seller is trashy and reject cancellation requests? That doesn't make sense at all! I just cancelled it within 5 minutes!

i live in a condo. These days they just put the parcel on the lobby table and considered it accepted or received without me going down. urgh!

I just decided to cancel both orders and see. The other seller (the one i wanted to buy from in the end) accepted my cancellation, which is really nice.

The other one (which i cancelled in the first place) hasn't accepted yet.... ZZZ. Just ignoring my messages.

Don’t have. This is not even a preferred+ seller or something like that. Just a normal seller without any tag. If the seller doesn’t respond by 27 (tomorrow) then it’s automatically cancelled. But this means that the seller has the right to reject. Like after so many hours. Aiyo….

update:

So my order: i ordered around 8.40PM, cancelled it at 8.45PM cause i re-checked and saw that my order had issues and needed to cancel it.

I also dropped the seller a message.

18 hours later. The seller replied me that he cannot cancel cause the order has been shipped. And that his staff went to send the order at 8.40PM but the centre was close so therefore he only sent it 12PM today!!!

So i waited 18 hours later only for him to give me lame excuses to reject my cancellations.

I tried to contact Shopee CS. Of course shopee CS gives you some lame excuses and cannot do anything. I told them i don't care, since it's Shopee Express, they better just stop the delivery!

it doesn't make sense. in Lazada, if i cancel within the hour, Lazada automatically accept my request. But this bullshit SHOPEE has to let the seller to decide??? like excuse me the seller hasn't even sent out the item!!! Such a fcking liar.

Im asking Shopee CS to stop the delivery but they ask me to wait for return/refund bla bla bla. YEAH RIGHT. We all know Return/Refund is never good news.

This one is not even fulfilled or anything. Not even preferred or anything.

Lazada is smarter. Within one hour after placing order, all cancellation is automatically accepted. Urgh. Shopee!


I went to check the sellers rating and true enough I see a lot of customers complaining about cancellation issues.

Didn’t see the warning. Regardless, the seller didn’t ship it until today 12.22PM. And he is giving lame excuses that they actually went to drop off but it’s already closed and whatever. That’s bullshit to me because I ordered and cancelled in the spam of 10 minutes. And there was another seller whom I communicated with and he accepted my order cancellation easily despite even registering the number to NinjaVan.

Anyway, all these details aside, now my issue is that im now stuck with something that I don’t even want and the seller is just being dishonest to the max. Can I just reject shopee express?

i did it within 20 minutes, yet the seller has the right to reject? Don't tell me within that few minutes he prepared the shipments, but only ships it after 14 hours. That's scammy as fuck.it's like forcing me in the shop while im browsing and not allowed me to go out!!! Only Lazada is auto accept within 1 hour of cancellation.

\Exactly, and shopee is condoning such actions. I went to read about this seller again and there are so many complaints about him regarding the cancellation issues. it means that HE IS ABUSING the system.

I really hate Shopee. Even their CS will start off explaining all their systems to you expecting customers to just be compliant and brainwashed! We shouldn't be. This is an obvious scam!

I think it's wrong to generate the tracking number first then hold the parcel hostage until few days later. It should be simultaneous.

Morning. Wanna check if anyone has rejected Shopee parcels before? Do i just ask them to send back to seller/shopee? And then later what do i pick in return/refund options? Didn't receive order? Success stories or prepared for bad news?

well to be fair to both buyer and seller, they should be a "consideration time", say 1 hour. Like Lazada. If you cancel within one hour after you place your order. It's an auto cancellation. Easy peasy. Seller can also wait for 1 hour before packing, unless customer actually clicks the "confirm" button sent to their chat box. I thought that way was ingenuous.

Shopee auto generate tracking number is just holding buyers hostage. It's like i walk into the shop, and unless i pay for my item/or must buy something, i am not allowed to leave the premises. I mean even for a physical shop, i could make a purchase and before i walk out the shop. i can still ask for refund!

i really hate that i still have to top up shopee pay amount including the shipping fees first just to offset it later after applying the vouchers. In the end I will just request a withdrawal of RM5 later. Like why shopee? You enjoy giving finance extra work for all the random withdrawal requests???

Does J&T have a delivery cut off date? Parcel has been on hold for a while. I know it's holiday but i thought they announce that they are working as usual.
