I wasted one also yesterday. Shopee forced me to use it even though I didnt want to. When I press " not this time ", nothing happened, when the next question started, I was allowed to answer.

Dear owner of this thread, can you just update to your post #1 regarding the cross border transaction fee ?
For those who not aware, shopee malaysia payment gateway is registered under singapore. hence, there are some bank credit card will impose 1% (so called cross border transaction fee).
For example : if you buy anything RM100 from shopee.com.my , you will eventually charge RM101.
And if the seller say no stock and refund to you, you will only get refunded RM99.
So, I already Kena that is using SCB credit card (any type). appreciate those who know please list down those credit card that impose the 1% charges. thanks.

It had been localised since January. Now Shopee ... MY instead of Shopee ... SG.

i saw from other thread " cross border transaction " someone told shopee already apply 2 payment gateway, one of it is ipay88. So, if your orders is pay through ipay88, then definitely ALL the CC won't charge cross border transaction.
but the problem is we as a buyer can not choose the payment gateway , only the shopee can randomly select the payment gateway for your order ( i guess).

so you mean even though we using scb / cimb cc to make payment, we won't kena cross border transaction of 1% ?
but i just call the customer service, he told me still got the 1% charges.

Since January, I never kena Shopee... SG again, check the description in CC statements/ledger, either Shopee Kuala Lumpur MY or Shopee Malaysia Kuala Lumpur MY. But of course Shopee may change the gateways from time to time.
