During the 12.12 promo I purchased couple of items.
After further checking, I noticed that i have been charged wrongly for my transaction.
After contacting Shopee customer service. They said i have been extra charged 1% because of my credit card. After further reading in this thread it is clear that Shopee are the one who charged me 1% without my prior notice. They not will to refund the 1% amount.
What should i do now? How do i report to relevant authorities?
For now my advice is for you guys to check your credit card statement & boycott Shopee

I believe the 1% is cross border fee due to Shopee payment gateway is cybersource (ie Singapore gateway)
That's right, 1% cross border charges. The extra charge goes to the bank. Not Shopee. We don't see this when Shopee used Ipay88 payment gateway.
Check with your bank. Some bank do not impose this charge.
Unfortunately, if you cancel your purchase, you won't get refund for this charge.
