2.Dentiste toothpaste - try this and you will like the feeling (no bad saliva odour in the morning if you brush b4 sleep)
3.PERROT Intradental brush - some pharmacy sold this, come with many
4.Oral-B ORTHO brush - this one maybe cost about RM7.50
5.Oral-B SuperFloss - for those who like to floss

Yeah, went to see dr. How last night at Maluri. My appointment was at 9.15PM but waited till 10PM. Missed Uber cup on starsport... :-(

Well, Dr. How just did a quick check for me, in less than 2 minutes and said although my teeth are nicely aligned but I have too many teeth yet my mouth is small. I have very bad rabbit teeth and when I smile can see the gum. No matter I am taking conventional treatment or Innovation or Daemon 3, I will still need to extract 4 teeth. Uchhhh…

Although Daemon 3 is faster and less pain than conventional orthodontic. But the main objective is to have good end result which make Daemon 3/ innovation more expensive.

If I would go for the treatment it’s RM5600 for Daemon 3 and RM5400 for innovation.

X-ray and mold RM200, extraction will be around RM140 with RM35 each.

And because of my gum issue, I will need to have two screws to screw up my teeth and that will cost another RM700 with RM350 each.

It will cost me RM 6640 for total which is more than double of my initial treatment in Perak. Although just a very short conversation with Dr. How but he’s really a nice dentist. Give very good explanation compared to my dentist in Perak.

I am in the dilemma to decide to take Daemon at How’s Orthodontic or continue my conventional treatment in Perak.

I will go to Perak this weekend and see if the dentist will do anything to my teeth or not. If he said I will still need to wear the bite stop I would probably transfer to How’s Orthodontic. I cannot wait too long d as I am also old now…

this is freaking me out... u put all 4 screws already???...or slowly 1 by one??..jorr....so scare la...duno what is he going to do to me on Saturday.......so in short does it hurt or not???...macam sakit and tak sakit je...lucky monday is a public holiday......so can rest longer...hahaha...

It happened to me 3 times. No worry, just slow slot it back through each teeth's bracket..

The screw ah.. no more pain after 3~5 days.. i just waiting for next visit on 10th June, Dr will place rubber to pull my teeth with the screw ba.. i think that time may be painful.. not sure la..

my wisdom teeth also grow half way currently. Ok aa, can do Damon 3...
anyhow, that day, Dr put back the bite block... but one side only la... so now I have to chew in circular motion... like lembu pulak 

goyong goyong is normal la.. mine and my friend who did braces also the same.. good la.. the teeth can move and align in right position.

the bite stop really give a suffer to thin ppl   my friend say i am so thin till geli..

Yup, greenapple is correct   I am having 4 screws !!!

According to Dr, the screw will help to align the teeth. I had installed the screw for a month plus.. no more feeling anymore. The screw just like part of my body now. Last 2 days, i went for monthy visit, Dr. start place rubber to pull my teeth with the screw. Now my teeth a bit in tension and pain. This kind of pain, i use to it la.. No pain no gain ma..

Viviensiu, where did u do the braces? what u would like to know on the screw ?

I already hiving bite stop 2 months plus lo..

gain muscle?? eat more chicken breast meat and drink protein shake loh... (that's what I heard lah... no professional training here...hehehehehehehe)

I know it's quite frustrating at times... especially when you're out with frens, they ordered something to share share and you have difficulties to eat it... & only can see them eat it only... 
But like some ppl say... no pain no gain maa..... 
If still frustrated... come here and complain, whine loh... and later try to forget about it....  hehehehehehehehehehe

Years ago, my frens used the traditional 1... never hear them complain about bite stop woh... rubber band got lah...     
so, iI think maybe dun have leh.... but not sure lah....

I thought u use Damon 3? also kena extract??

wah..congrates Kentcp..my upper teeth oso straight liao.now just waiting close the gap..its 5th month,i think...last week i went to extract 5tooths..(3wisdom tooth,2 normal upper tooths)..and installed a screw...all cost me rm1k+ ..but,the process not pain at all..oni the purse and heart feel the pain

Oh.! that's called "Power Chain" ah ? i also have on upper teeth..across about 5 teeths.. then another vertical (same type of rubber band) to pull my upper teeth to screw. can imagine ?

Then lower teeth, there is a metal string from right side of screw to center of lower teeth then to right side of screw. complicated le I don't think you guy need in this way la.. is just custom to my teeth situation.
