Bite blocks will thinned out over time due to friction when biting. Yes, its a nuisance that you can't bite & feel the food at all. Slowly & patiently u'll get used to it and then it will be gone on its own.

I didn't use dental wax the last time. Why do you need it? If you're getting bruised due to the friction caused by wire, near wisdom tooth on your inner mouth, then ask the ortho to cut & smoothen out the edges of wire.

And welcome to braceian family smile.gif

I'm using Innovation C. C Stands for ceramic. Its slightly transluscent, but still visible. It cost more than your conventional braces and from experience and other bracesian, it takes a little longer. But case to case basis. Got green light from Dr How, Bangsar that may able to debrace next month...after 2 1/2 years...Hmm...a little used to it already, but still its good new

Wow! Many are getting debrace lately & soon. Many congrats!
I have loose brackets nearly as much as my fingers. Well, it will lengthen the time and embarassing to notify the doc. But its paid for. Just becareful on what you're chewing smile.gif

Isn't retainer cost part of your braces treatment package? If not, the Ortho should give better price for subsequent replacement or so.

Loose wire? I've never encountered loosed wire before? If bracket, do get it fixed asap. I hope to get debraced before CNY smile.gif
