Wow... RM2588 is a hard sell considering the Note 9 can be bought at RM2600

Definitely, a lot of folks smoking too much grass seems like.

Though in the first place the almost unthinkable drop in selling price of the N9 is probably beyond the scope of any of Mihan's plans, to be fair lol.
*
I think even Samsung didn’t expect that themselves. They probably thought 3299 was the lowest threshold laugh.gif

Yeah, should be a lesson in how "slap-bang-upgrade" isn't gonna cut it for a yearly iteration anymore nowadays lol. People just ain't as keen to blindly upgrade yearly at those kinds of MRSPs.

Except you know, iNimals. Not that the XS isn't a fine price of hardware if you put aside the pricing TBH.
*
As a fellow iNimal with an Xs Max, I couldn't agree more. It's getting ridiculous to pay the amount for an iPhone these days, but it is what it is when you are invested in the ecosystem. This is something Droid makers need to understand and not blindly up their prices to compete with Apple. A lot of Apple users are paying for the experience, not the hardware.

Anyway, I've got an eye on a OnePlus device as I've not tried Oxygen OS before, but maybe will wait for the 6 to drop further in price instead.

No offence meant by the term BTW lol, just bringing all the iSheep, iRabbit, i-"insert animal here" terms to its logical conclusion lol.

TBH, if you look closely enough Sammy is also trying to go the "ecosystem" route and I don't think it's working out that well for them either so I don't really think that's the entire story.

But yeah, like I initially mentioned, once you put the price (and illogical Apple restrictions aside), the X (and entire series by extension) is a pretty well sorted out device - especially on the "experience" side, as you yourself have mentioned.
*
None taken laugh.gif Ya, the ecosystem thing and experience is more important for some over the latest hardware bling.

QUOTE(-kytz- @ Oct 30 2018, 11:18 AM)
Note 9 has the S Pen, ip68, dual front facing speakers and a bigger battery.

However, the One Plus 6T will be much smoother/more responsive than the Note 9 hmm.gif
*
Ya, that's what I wanna try - Oxygen OS. I've had my fair share of TouchWiz or Samsung UX or Samsung Experience or whatever they call it now...

Be prepared to pay top dollar for it bro. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Oneplus prices the OP7 around Rm3k mark.
*
I draw the line at 2.5k laugh.gif

Hope they'll return to their flagship killer mission statement by then!

I'm OK with low specs, just wanna try, haha.. Hopefully they'll priced it to compete with the Mis and not the Samsungs and Apples, like they used to.

Cant associate low priced with Oneplus now bro.... They have a different company policy and target market now.
*
I do like that their value holds up pretty well right now amongst other Androids. The grey imported sets are priced pretty attractively though biggrin.gif

Won't la bro, my minimum requirement for buying an Android these days is a 4000mAh battery biggrin.gif

Question, guys. Where is OnePlus’ official/authorized service centre in the Klang Valley? Anyone ever had to sent their phones there for repair before can share a little on their services?
